The first thing I remembered when I opened my eyes was last night. If I had a choice right now, the ground would definitely swallow me. Facing Nick today was something that I couldn’t possibly imagine doing today. It was going to be weird. Thinking of what he had to go through in the past and right now. I could thank my stars that he wasn’t in sight now. From what it seemed it was obvious he had left. Wait; did he have trouble facing me too? “Take me to mate.” Leila uttered with a pout. “Good morning to you too, Leila.” I replied her that minute. The door knob twisted that minute and Nick came walking in. I let out a pant that instant. It was Nick. He was in grey sweatpants with two cups on a saucer. He also held a plate which contained a meal. I furrowed my brows, totally confused.
