My lady, I assure you, it will make him better. Stronger,” Andrew told Lady Rivers with as much patience as he could muster.
The woman was clearly not convinced. Andrew was just as certain that no matter what he said, she wouldn’t have faith he knew what he was doing—and he wasn’t going to tell her how right she was! He was determined, however, to do more research. He was certain he remembered reading of some herbs that could make the heart stronger, and he wanted to find them and see if they wouldn’t work for both Lord Rivers and Andrew’s mother. Not that she’d let him examine her yet, but he was nearly certain it was her heart that was the problem, just like Lord Rivers.
