There are countless things to be craved, to be desired in the world. But out of all of that, what Dawn only craved with desperation was freedom. But that was not something her family thinks she needed and deserved to have. Raised, sheltered, fed, and educated—for all the things her parents have done for her, she needed to pay it in utter obedience. Be it the choice of her career path, who she befriends, the image she needed to have in the society, even the man Dawn would walk for on the altar—she was deprived of the right to choose on her own. And just as she decided to think for herself came the man of her parent’s choosing, her groom to be. His presence alone is a threat to her freedom; how much more of his moves she can’t read? Will she be able to gain the freedom she’s been wanting to have, or will she be in another layer of prison in the form of a man whose hazel eyes carry earthquakes and brings mountains on his knees with no chance for escape?
