Mila’s POV

We walked from the hotel to around the campus, we saw the library, the dorm rooms and a few other buildings, but it’s all a blur in my mind. As soon as we were in Isaac’s presence, all my senses were shutting down on me. I felt like I was floating on a cloud overlooking the scene below. I had a hard time concentrating on the actual tour, I was completely drowning in Isaac’s voice and his scent. Why the hell was I so obsessed with how he smelled? He was a few feet away from me, and I could smell him as if I was laying right on top of him. Isn’t that a happy thought..I imagined straddling him and grabbing hold of his huge biceps as he held me tightly by the waist..

“Whatcha thinkin’ there Mila?” Devin said as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and winked at me. My face blushed immediately and I glanced over at Tyler who was oblivious but Isaac’s face was almost terrifying. He was shooting daggers at Devin with his eyes. Devin quickly took his arm off me and chuckled.

“Um..so where’s Will?” I asked to change the subject but I was genuinely wondering where he was. Isaac smiled at me which made my heart skip a beat, god he was so handsome!

“He met a girl last night and I haven’t seen him since.” Tyler answered.

“Well aren’t you a great friend? F**k Tyler! You haven’t even checked on him? What if she’s a psycho b***h?!” Annie shouted at him.

“Relax there Red. Will’s more than fine, I texted him this morning. What’s wrong are ya jealous?” Devin said grinning.

“Ugh. You are such an ass sometimes. No! I am not jealous.” Annie replied rolling her eyes.

“I’m actually shocked too guys, i’ve never seen Will with a girl before. He always turned down any advances even if it was from a really hot chick.” I answered. It really was out of character for him.

“Yeah, I was shocked too. As soon as we got to the party, Will ran towards that girl and she jumped in his arms and they started making out instantly. The f****r ditched me.” Tyler answered sounding annoyed.

“Haha! I guess it’s you who is jealous!” Devin laughed.

Isaac interrupted our laughing to guide us into a building. He held the door open as we all got in, I was the last to enter and Isaac put his hand on my lower back and followed me inside. I gasped at his touch, even through clothing, I felt tingly all over. I looked up at him and he had the biggest smile on his pretty face. He caressed my back with his fingers before he let me go and made his way to the front, my body reacted to his absence. It felt like the warmth of my body was disappearing.

“This is the medical building. Mila, Devin told me you were thinking of taking up the nursing program, so this is where you would have most of your classes.” Isaac said to me, in his deep, sexy, sultry voice..

I shook the dirty images building in my head and I saw Isaac take a deep breath and he coughed in his hand before turning around and continuing his tour. I glanced over at Devin who was covering his mouth and laughing ?! What the hell was going on ..

Isaac stopped right in front of two big doors and turned around to face us.

“I asked Professor McLaughan for permission to sit in on his lecture today. Don’t worry, there’s only like twenty minutes left of his class.” Isaac said smiling. He opened the door and gestured us inside.

We all walked in quietly and looked for empty seats. Devin pointed to an empty row and we made our way towards it, Tyler sat down and pat down the seat next to him for me. Two seconds later, Isaac sat down on my other side, well talk about a perfect sandwich. Sweet, handsome Tyler on my right and Sexy, romantic, passionate, gorgeous, oh the list could go on forever, Isaac on my left.

I fidgeted in my seat nervously, trying to concentrate on the lecture. My heart was beating so fast, I was trying to control my breathing but I was failing. Being so close to Isaac was really affecting me, I felt so bad for feeling this way especially with Tyler sitting next to me. Oh no..I was having a panic attack.

Suddenly, I felt a wave of a calming sensation. My heart was starting to beat at a normal pace and I was taking in deep breaths. I could finally hear what the professor was saying, he was talking about Aquatic Therapy, which was right up my alley. I looked to my left and noticed that Isaac was discretely drawing circles on my arm with his fingers, his touch was so calming. I had no doubt in my mind that it was his touch that made my panic attack go away. I looked up and he was looking in front of him, sensing that I was looking at him, he looked into my eyes. He looked at me longingly, he looked concerned but then he gave me the cutest side smile and winked. I looked down at his fingers and up to his eyes again and mouthed a ‘thank you’ with my lips. He smiled and winked at me again and turned his face to the front again.

I don’t know what these feelings were, but I think I owed it to myself to find out. My feelings for Tyler were also strong, but incomparable to how strongly I already felt towards Isaac.

The lecture ended and my stomach started rumbling.

“Let’s f*****g eat, i’m starving too.” Devin said, pointing at my rumbling belly. I blushed instantly.

“There’s this great pub on the other side of campus.” Isaac said.

He pointed the way and we all started walking. I felt as though someone was watching me so I looked back and Isaac was walking behind me and checking me out! I opened my mouth in shock and a low growl erupted from his lips, he shook his head and started talking to Devin on his left. What was up with his growling..and why did I like it?!

We walked in to ‘Beta’s pub’, it was a large, dimly lit, full of life pub. A lot of people were drinking and it was barely noon, I knew Annie would love it here.

“This is by far the best part of the tour, Isaac!” Annie said, we all laughed. A tall tattooed rough looking guy walked by and Annie gawked at him.

“Yes..by far the best part..” Annie said almost drooling.

And then a familiar face came out from behind the bar and walked to greet us.

“Hey! I thought i’d be the best part!” Liam said, taking a seat next to Annie and wrapping his arm around her shoulder, making her blush.

“So what’s the scoop, are ya’ll enrolling next semester or what?”

“I think I am, I get a good vibe here.” I replied. Isaac smiled at my response.

“I still have one year left of highschool.” Annie said shyly as she glanced at Liam.

“Oh f**k, please tell me you’re at least 16!” Liam said nervously laughing. Annie playfully punched Liam in the stomach.

“F**k off! I’m 17!” Annie said laughing.

Tyler was really silent, I looked up at him and forced him to look at me.

“Ty..you don’t need to feel bad, if you want to go to the University of Arizona, then that’s where you should go.” I said as I held his hand.

“I don’t know yet Mila, I haven’t decided yet..I don’t want to be that far away from you..” Tyler said sincerely. My heart broke for him. He really did love me.

“Ah for f***s sakes Tyler, stop being such a p***y! You’ve been talking about going to that school ever since you were really young, like your father did. I don’t think Mila would like it if you didn’t ‘follow your dreams’ because of her.” Devin said, using air quotes.

Tyler looked at me like a sad puppy.

“We’ll talk about it more later, ok?” I said to him, trying to reassure him. I glanced at Isaac and his face was expressionless, which gave me a really uneasy feeling in my stomach. I shifted nervously in my seat. Thankfully, the waitress arrived with our food to break the awkward tension. She set our plates in front of us and then she leaned across the table in front of Isaac, making sure he had a full view of her cleavage.

“Iiisaaaaac..baby! When are you going to ask me out already?” She asked in an annoying nasal voice. I rolled my eyes and stuffed my mouth full of sweet potato fries.

“Sorry Vanessa..” Isaac replied as he pressed his lips in a thin line and shrugged.

“Ah..come on baby, I don’t bite..unless you ask nicely.” She answered as she rubbed her hand up his arm.

The most intense feeling of rage overcame my body. My chest vibrated and the weirdest sound came out of my mouth. I had f*****g growled at her. I glared at her until I realized what I done and then I stared down to my plate again and continued stuffing my face.

“You okay babe? Do you have heartburn or something?” Tyler asked as he rubbed my back. I glanced at everyone, Devin and Liam were holding back laughs, ‘Vanessa’ was looking at me in shock and Isaac was trying to hide the biggest smile on his face. I don’t know what the hell is going on with my body lately! I shrugged at Tyler and went back to eating my food.

“So Tyler..since Will is occupied, I was thinking maybe you could be my wing man for tonight? There’s this party I want to go to off campus.” Devin said.

“Ahh man..I don’t know..” Tyler said, looking at me for help.

“I think Tyler and I were going to hang out tonight, Dev. Sorry.” I answered, making Tyler smile. I didn’t need to look at the other side of the table to know that someone else was upset with my comment.

“No. Tyler you are going to go hang out with Devin, and Mila you are having a girls night with me! Did you forget that you were supposed to spend the entire weekend apart? I think we can all agree that you two broke the rules big time.” Annie spat as she waved her finger in our faces.

I looked at Tyler and shrugged in defeat. I guess I would spend another evening without him..I wonder how this one will play out.
