Kaira held on grimly to the arms of the chair as the Glimmer bucked and shook around her. Every time it seemed the assault was finished something else slammed into the ship, sending it in a new direction. Tarkus was back in the pilot’s chair, and was cursing profusely as he wrestled with the controls. Kaira was certain this transition from jump space was lasting much longer than any other had, and while it wasn’t quite as violent as some transitions, the length of time was making her really worried the Glimmer would shake itself apart.
