Kaira eased her way out of the cabin, listening carefully. She felt slightly guilty at what she planned even though she wasn't doing anything wrong. Not technically. She eased forward carefully, moving slowly. Then she shook her head at herself. But she still trod lightly. She started with the door next to hers, which led to a space between her cabin and the engine room. From what she remembered of the engine room the space between could be a cabin the same size as hers. Or it could be another store room. She wasn’t going to find out. The door was still locked.
