MHALEE'S POV

I visited my mom in the hospital and told her that I found a job. She was happy because, finally, I am employed again. Her reaction made it seem like I haven't been working for years. I also told my brother that he should seriously find a job once our mother gets out of the hospital. He has to contribute to the living expenses if he wants his family to stay in the house.

After all that, I went to Raven's house to discuss my work arrangement. I knew he would be angry because I would be staying in. He doesn't like it when I'm away for so long because he has a strong s*x drive. He wants me around whenever he's in the mood so that we can do the deed.

"What? You're staying in? I thought you just needed to work there, and then you can still go home to me?" I was right. My new work arrangement made him very angry.

"I don't have a choice, Raven. I need this job," I told him. If he would just give me money for my mom's treatment, maybe I wouldn't have to work there. But no, we're not married yet and he has no obligation to support me nor my family.

I can also feel that something is off with my boss but I couldn't tell anyone about it.

"Why can't you just look for another job?! There are a lot of other work opportunities out there!" his voice was laced with annoyance, his face masked with a dark expression. "When is your day off, and how often?"

"Only once a month, babe," I answered softly. Aunt Zeny told me that earlier. I was surprised because I didn't expect it to be just once a month.

Raven cursed, "Damn it!"

I hugged him tightly to calm him down. This is the first time we will be apart. We used to always be together. Then, whenever he told me to go to his house, I would go immediately. Unlike now, we will only see each other once every four weeks. He won't be able to call me all the time because I'll be busy with work. We'll probably only get to talk at night.

"I'm sorry, babe, but I really need this for Mom. You know what happened to her, right?" I said softly while still hugging him.

He took a deep breath and looked at me with a serious expression.

"Sorry, I'm just not used to this situation, babe. You know that usually, whenever I call you, you'll come right away, but now, we can't see each other whenever we want to. I can't even sleep beside you if you have a stay-in job?" His sadness reflected my own. I would surely miss everything that we used to do together.

"We can still talk on the phone, babe," I said with a smile to him. So he wouldn't feel sad anymore.

"Even if we have to stay up late, it's fine as long as we can talk every day," he said.

"Alright, just make sure to text me often. And don't talk to or get to know other guys."

I smiled. My babe was getting jealous again, I'm sure of it.

"Yes, no one can replace you. You're the only one I love," I said, hugging him tightly because I would miss him so much. I would miss his kisses and touches. We were always together, and he always tires me out because of his insatiable s****l drive, but now that we have to be in a long-distance relationship because of my work, I still feel awfully sad.

"Stay here with me tonight. I'll miss you," he said affectionately, kissing my neck. I giggled because it tickled me. He kissed me until our lips met. I knew I had to do this to pacify his anger. I wasn't supposed to stay with him tonight because my brother's wife and kids would be alone at the house.

"Oh, babe. Go on... just eat me," I moaned as I pushed his face towards me. He started with the foreplay, then he made sure to taste every part of my body, especially the nether region. After all the excitement, we made love.

He wasn't that skilled, but it was enough for me to reach climax.

I could feel his tongue licking and stroking me like I was some lollipop. This is one of the things I'll miss once I start working. I'll be deprived of his s****l prowess for a month, and so will my boyfriend. I asked myself again why do we only get one day off? Our employer is unreasonable. 29 days of hard work and only one day off work? This is absurd!

After I reached my first climax, he made love to me three more times until we were both exhausted. We fell asleep immediately because I was leaving the following day. Tita Zeny and I would leave together again.

The next day, I woke up early. Even though I was exhausted, I made myself get up. Raven took me home because I still had to prepare my things.

"Take care there, huh? No boys, Mhalee." He reminded me firmly, almost as if it were a warning.

"Yes, of course." I replied with a smile. I wasn't annoyed with his actions because I knew he loved me very much.

"Alright then. Go inside, and I'll head home," He said a little later, kissing me on the lips. I responded immediately and hugged him tightly because I would miss him terribly. No one could see us because it was dark where we were standing.

We kissed passionately until we were out of breath. I went inside the house as he left.

I was teary-eyed because we were going to be apart. It would be a month before we would see each other again. I quickly gathered my things from the cabinet and packed them into my backpack.

I left instructions with my brother's wife and handed her some money. I didn't take a bath because Tita Zeny might already be waiting at their house. I told her we would just meet at her place.

"Thank you and take care of yourself," Lena said, and I just nodded. I kissed the two kids while they were sleeping before leaving. I went to Auntie Zeny's house and then we set off. We had to hurry because she still needed to prepare breakfast for our employer. She was now responsible for cooking since the other helper was no longer around.

"It's good that your boyfriend agreed," she said as we rode the bus.

"He didn't really have a choice, Auntie." I replied, sadness evident in my eyes.

"That's right, you're not yet married, and you need to work for your mother," she advised me. I gave a shy smile and gazed out the window.

It's sad, but I have to endure. This is the first time we'll be apart for a long time. This will also determine how strong our relationship is and if we're truly meant to be together in the end.

Before, whenever I saw Raven with another girl and flirting, I'd confront him right away. Now, I can't keep an eye on him because I'll be far away. Still, I trust my boyfriend. I believe he won't cheat on me, even if we're far apart.
