Mel's POV After closing the stall, I said goodbye to my boss and stepped outside the market to wait for Lando. He told me he’d pick me up—he usually does, unless he’s tied up with something. I don’t mind. I’ve never been the demanding type. He didn’t go to work today, though. He said he had a headache earlier, so I told him to rest. "Hi, still no ride?" I turned to the person who spoke behind me and saw Eduardo. "He's on his way, sir," I politely replied, even though he sometimes irritates me. He keeps looking and talking to me. He knows I have a boyfriend. "Ahh, don't call me 'sir' yet. I'm still young," he said as if he didn't want to be addressed formally. He's acting young, even though we know how old he is. It's just not obvious because he's still looks lean and looks so good.
