Through the Years

After a few weeks of recovery, Allia was back on her feet being the perfect luna and mother again. Dorran still hasn't found any documentation or explanations about why our daughter is a wolf, but she still has hope. She looks over her shoulder again to check on the kids, the triplets love her and like to play, but she's still young so Allia likes to be cautious.

Once Dorran and Sebastian walk through the door she sets two plates of food on the counter for them. Sebastian had his first shift a few days ago on his 16th birthday and Dorran has taken him out nearly every day since. Now that the whole family is gathered in the kitchen Allia asks, "So you father and I can't decide on a name yet."

"Maxy" Max yells out and everyone starts laughing. Henry looks up from his book to say, "We already have one max, and he's quite enough."

"Actually," starts Dorran, "we have two names picked out. we just need you guys to help us decide the order. We have Nila or Mohina." After the vote, Dorran walks over to her and picks up the pup and tosses her in the air to Allia's dismay, "Nila! a perfectly befitting name for both your heritages!"

"What do you mean dad?" Arun asks in confusion. Dorran looks over at his wife apologetically. They had agreed to wait to tell their children about their dad being a high demon. It's not a fact the many people outside of the pack know about, so they wanted them to be 16 first. As of right now, only Sebastian knows.

"You'll know when you're older. Like a right of passage that only I get right now." Sebastian stepped in. Allia can't help but smile at how her oldest is shaping to become a great young man. Her thoughts are interrupted by the harmonious whines from the other boys and an excited yip from Nila. Which, Allia thought, is a really cute name. Though she would never admit it.

10 Years later

Dorran hands Allia her tea and sits on the bench beside her while entering the conversation she's having with a mated couple from their pack. They just moved into their own place and came to say hi. He listens to hem a bit but changes his attention to the kids in the yard. Nila is playing chase with her brothers and the twin daughters of the couple next to them.

Dorran doesn't mind Nila being a wolf as much as Allia does. Of course, she loves her daughter no matter what, but he notices the way she looks when no can tell her anything at what happened or when she goes into Nila's room. Honestly, he might have a theory, but it is quite far fetched. He'll tell Lia in a few years, he decided. 

"Hey, dad. Could you help me with something?" Aiden says as he walks out the front door. Dorran nods his head and excuses himself to help his son. Since Sebastian decided to renounce his right as the next alpha to move to his mate's pack, Dorran has been training Aiden. There are only a few more years till his 30th birthday and Dorran will step down as alpha.

He's already so proud of his sons, both of them, and will be happy to leave the pack to him.

"Nila!" Dorran hears Allia scream and immediately run out to see what's wrong. When he gets outside with Aiden close behind he sees Nila rolling around in a puddle of mud, turning her pure white coat black. Allia has a look of horror on her face while everyone else, including Dorran, are laughing.

He knows for sure that she did it on purpose when she looks up directly at her mom with what looks like a smile on her face. "I'm getting the hose, young lady, and when I get back I want you out of that mud!" Lia calls out and when Nila's ears perk up at the mention of the hose, everyone laughs harder.
