The Demon in Wolf's Clothing

Allia sighs to herself in boredom as she closes her laptop and moves it off her stomach. There's only so much shopping a girl can take by herself she thought to herself. Her thoughts soon turned happy, "Though I won't have to shop alone soon enough." Allia soon distracts herself with fantasies and hopes of shopping with her daughter and teaching her how to do make-up and all things she's wanted since she was pregnant with her first child. "It only took 16 tries." Allia smiles up at her husband when he enters the room with newly delivered packages while chuckling to himself. "And they were all worth it," she responds while sitting up to look. She is met with resistance as her husband moves too fast for her to notice and gently pushes her back, "Doctors orders, Lia. Bed rest until it's time." Ignoring the loving feeling she always gets when he calls her Lia in his accent, she says definitely, "Sitting up in bed isn't going to kill me. Besides, I'm restless from the upcoming eclipse just let me take a walk!" It was a lunar eclipse tonight, all of the wolves are excited but women in their 3rd trimester can't shift because it puts too much strain on the baby. Allia knows that Dorran is right, their baby girl is due in two weeks and she barely looks in her 2nd trimester. They're all worried but she thinks that Dorran is worried the most, he is looking forward to having a daughter as much as she is. "I'll stay in bed, I promise. But you have to go on the run tonight with the pack." Dorrans face softens and he looks at his bedridden wife, "Lia." Allia interrupts him before he can say anymore knowing she won't be able to refuse for long, "Please! I know you don't feel the eclipse as strongly as everyone else, but they need you. I can't be there, but you can and they'll want their alpha right beside them. I'll be fine, besides the boys are here if I need anything." By the look on his face, Allia could tell that he wanted to argue back, but she knew her logic was sound and that he'd give in. With a sigh, Dorran reluctantly agrees and leaves the room after giving her a kiss. Even though she is glad that her pack has their alpha, she can't help but be disappointed that she's alone again. Allia reaches over and grabs a package and starts to open it. It makes her feel like a kid on Christmas day when she does. She smiles to herself as she remembers how her father would sometimes just wrap an empty box so she could open it. This time the boxes aren't filled with baby things, but presents for the boys instead. You see lunar eclipses are treated as an important holiday, and for a shopaholic, presents are normally given too. After the boxes are open and hidden, Allia returns from the bathroom to find all of her boys squished on the bed, with a generous amount of space left for her. She smiles at the look of her babies together. "Movie night! Movie night! Movie night with mommy!" Her youngest Max is chanting. Montgomery and Maverick are already asleep on Aiden. "Come on, mom. I put in your favourite." The oldest, Sebastian, says while gently grabbing her arm. Of all her children, he looks the most like her. With his red-orange hair and freckles spotting his face, he has most of her features too, like his small, refined nose, and the blue almond eyes. Allia isn't sure how long they have been watching movies, but it must be late because most of her boys are asleep. Sebastian is still up but texting the boyfriend he thinks I don't know about. She hopes that he comes to her soon, Allia thinks with a slight frown on her face. She doesn't think that he's afraid of coming out to us, but maybe some of the other pups his age. "What's wrong Mama?" Noah asks, he has been going on about the science fair coming up and how Sheila said that she was gonna win but he didn't think so, "Nothing, sweetheart. What are you doing with your topic this year? it's your first, right? You could ask Bradley to help, He's won every year."  Noah is about to respond when I start to feel a slight discomfort in my stomach. *AN* Thank you for reading the first chapter. I've been working on a few but wanted to post this one first. I'm new at writing so any helpful and respectful comments are welcome. I also would appreciate some feedback if anyone does read this.
