"Ugh, I need a nap. Liz, do you have any sleeping pills?" the woman asked, while Liz raised an eyebrow at her.
"Syal, seriously? You're going to sleep during the mission? This mission is everything, if we fail, someone else will steal the obsidian pendant," Liz argued, her expression turning sour.
"Fine. But I'm stealing the gold at the auction, want in?" Syalis said playfully, making Liz smirk.
"I never said no."
During their mission, Lizya was always cautious and serious, known as one of the secret agents of O'901 Zone. Syalis, the leader, was wicked and playfully cruel in a way that was both bad and good. They were opposites but surprisingly got along.
Their mission took them to the heart of the city, a bustling auction house filled with wealthy collectors and eager bidders. Lizya, the strategist, had meticulously planned their infiltration, mapping out every security camera and guard patrol. Syalis, on the other hand, thrived on chaos. She loved the thrill of the heist, using her charm and cunning to distract guards and slip past security.
"Liz, are you sure about this?" Syalis whispered, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "This whole 'undercover staff member' thing feels a bit too... predictable."
Lizya, the pragmatist, simply nodded. "It's the safest option. We need to blend in."
As they navigated the auction house, Syalis couldn't resist a little mischief. She'd playfully bump into guards, feigning clumsiness, before slipping away with a mischievous grin. Lizya, the professional, would roll her eyes but couldn't help but smile at Syalis' antics.
"You're going to get us caught, Syalis," Lizya warned, her voice laced with amusement.
"Relax, Liz," Syalis replied, her voice a seductive whisper. "I've got a plan."
They finally reached their destination β the backstage, where the pendant was being stored. Lizya, the meticulous planner, had already mapped out the security system and identified the weak points. Syalis, on the other hand, was busy flirting with a security guard, distracting him with a playful conversation about the auction items.
"Liz, are you sure the pendant is here?" Syalis asked, her voice a playful purr.
"Well.. that's what this system is telling us." Lizya pointed to the iPad in her hand, her face serious.
They paused, their eyes meeting. Syalis's gaze was filled with mischief, while Lizya's eyes were filled with a quiet intensity.
"You're weird," Syalis said, a playful smirk on her lips.
"You're also weird!" Lizya retorted, a hint of a smile playing on her lips.
They both burst into laughter, the tension of the mission momentarily forgotten. But as the laughter faded, Syalis's smile turned into a wicked smirk as she secretly stabbed the partner in the back.
"Lizya, it was fun working with you.. You should've been cautious of your actions." Syalis said, her voice laced with a fake tone.
Lizya's eyes widened in shock as blood dripped from her nose. She wiped it up with her fingers and looked at it with disbelief. "W-why..?"
"I dislike traitors.. I know you were working with them. I'm impressed by how well you acted, it irritates me to see how good your acting skills are" Syalis's smirk widened in an unhinged way, "The fact that you're a secret agent from them gives me a reason to kill you. Only, I, myself, knows ethical hacking other than the government agents."
And with that, she slowly pushed off Lizya's body.
"I was hoping for more from you but I got bored of waiting. See you in hell sooner or never, who knows?"
