Chapter 6The whole weekend was fine, really good, until Pidge got to Sunday night. Giant didn’t need to be on campus until 10 and Pidge had that stupid 8 a.m. class so he went to bed alone, in a twin bed that seemed tortuously narrow and hard and empty. He slept poorly, glared at his grumpy, tired face in the mirror, and went to spend an hour learning something he could have taught himself out of a book in a quarter of the time. They got last week’s projects back at the end of the class. The professor’s policy was that anyone who had a problem with his grade had to come during office hours to discuss it.
