One Month Later…
After visiting and staying in the four different packs between Blood Stone and Mystic Shadow… Marcus, Layla, Carlos, and I finally made it to the capital of the werewolf kingdom.
Each pack was about a day's drive apart from each other and we stayed in each pack for three to five days. So far Layla did not have any luck finding her mate, but she is not too discouraged. Layla even jokes that maybe her mate is younger than her and teases Carlos that it could be him.
Carlos teases her back when she says that she is not his type. They get along like really well. Almost like their sibling bond was instant. My bond with Carlos gets better and better by the day. Carlos has even been helping me train once Layla started training me.
