Chapter: 21 I walk back to the site slowly and still traumatized. Shawn had abandoned me a while back because according to him I resembled a zombie. I didn’t speak, barely blinked, and didn’t want to move from my spot. If it were up to me I would’ve stayed there sitting in my own anguish. I don’t know how the Alpha managed to get me to stand up and follow him. Well actually, I think it’s time I stop underestimating his power, authority, and cruel ways. He broke me, took everything away from me, and humiliated me all in the course of two days. He broke me to the point where I felt nothing…I was numb. There was no hope nor disappointment. There was nothing. I replayed what happened over and over again as my feet carried me back to the site. Finally arriving I stare at our establishment
