When Piper went back to work on Wednesday, she knew she'd never be the same again. The facility hadn't been harmed, but they’d lost an employee. The woman had hidden with her mother and aunt in a closet. Both her mother and aunt survived, but not the woman.
Over thirty families from work had been seriously affected in one way or another. The general manager and the corporate manager put together a fund for any employee who had lost a home.
