Several weeks went by before Piper broke down and went to the doctor. She couldn't sleep. Every time she lay down, she pictured those women who didn't make it. In her mind, the women became her friends. Even though Piper hadn't been in the tornado, nightmares plagued her. She saw people crawling out of debris moments after the tornado hit.
She relived over and over again the chaotic moments where nobody knew what was happening. Nobody knew how bad the damage was. These were things she'd never forget.
