Jane checks herself in the mirror for the nth time. She feels so nervous. This is the first time she will be attending a gala. And a highly anticipated one at that! She will be around people she doesn’t know and people who are famous and important personalities in society. She doesn’t even know how to act around them. She has called Cody earlier to cancel. But he just wouldn’t take no for an answer. She owes him too much to even consider bailing on him now.
