I'm a total simp for my older sister, Erica Lancaster, and I don't think too hard about things. I heard my sister was secretly pining for someone she could never have. So, summoning every ounce of courage I had, I kidn*pped the gloomy, vicious crown prince of the business world and tied him to my sister's bed. When my sister found out, she practically shrieked. "Since when did I ever like that King of Hell?! Get your butt out of there before it's too late!" I glanced at Shaun Philipps, who was lying across the bed, restrained by a dog leash. My legs immediately turned to jelly. "Erica... it's too late. My knees have gone weak... He looks absolutely terrifying. He says he's going to swallow me whole, not even leave my bones behind," I said. Erica's scream was so loud it almost burst my eardrums. Clothes were scattered haphazardly on the floor outside the bathroom. Even as much of an airhead as I am, I could tell something was very wrong from my sister's tone. "Didn't you say you'd be back today?" I added. On her end, my sister was fending off a crowd of attractive men surrounding her. "Forgot to tell you, I met two younger guys and decided to stay in Iceland a couple more days." Before she hung up, she kept nagging me. "Don't provoke Shaun. Get the hell out of there right now. I'm booking a flight back immediately to clean up your mess." 'But, Erica, it's already too late…' I'd just fastened a cold, gleaming bow collar around Shaun's graceful, swan-like neck... And threw the key away. Before he went into the shower, he bared his teeth and threatened me, "Just you wait!" I stood at the bathroom door holding a bath towel, ready to smooth things over. "Um… Mr. Philipps, this is all a misunderstanding. A total misunderstanding, I swear!" The collar around his neck glinted coldly. "I'll call a locksmith right now, to take care of the dog chain…" Shaun paid no heed to anything else, yanking me over and tossing me onto the bed. Sure enough, a big shot never makes empty threats when it comes to getting even. It happened all the way from the bathroom to the big bed in the bedroom. My first time was anything but pleasant. I begged for mercy as I tried to crawl away. Shaun grabbed my ankle and dragged me back. A dangerous, ravenous glint flickered in his narrow eyes. He spoke in a lazy drawl, deliberately dragging out the end of his sentence. "Weren't you being pretty cocky just now? Said I looked like a cat and wanted to keep me as a pet?" I passed out three times, limp as a dead pig. When I woke up, dusk was already falling. Shaun had gone to the bathroom. I missed my sister. But her phone was turned off. My top had been torn into rags, and my dress was stained in multiple places. My legs shaking, I got out of bed, put on Shaun's dress shirt and suit and left with them, leaving not a single piece of his clothes behind. Staying even one second longer would be downright disrespectful to my own life. Ah! When I got home, I gritted my teeth and climbed the stairs. It took every last bit of my strength to finally collapse into bed. The fear hit me almost entirely in hindsight. Hands trembling, I unlocked my phone and started searching for entries about Shaun online.
