The Day Everything Changed Pt.1

After 2 weeks of training Papa said I surpassed his training time from when he first shifted on his 18th birthday. He was so proud of me, which had me proud of myself.
"Lex,wait right here. I have a surprise for you at the house. I'll be right back."
"Okay, Papa. I'll be right here."
After about 10 minutes of waiting I walked a little towards the river to go for a swim. While I was in the water for a couple minutes cooling off my body I was in complete relaxation.
"Hey Lex."
I jumped up out of the water because I knew it wasn't Papa. It was Sia. Papa made me promise not to say anything to Sia about me being Drea's daughter. And I respect his decision, it would just complicate things and I don't want any trouble.
"Hey Sia. How are you today?" I say while looking making sure Drea is nowhere to be found. She doesn't want me around Sia at all.
"My mom is at home asleep. It's okay to talk to me."
"Oh alright." I let out the breathe I was holding in.
"Why does she not want us around eachother?"
"I don't know."
"I think you do."
"I really don't know Sia. I wish I did but I don't."
She was about to say something else when we heard a noise coming from the trees.
"What was that?" She said with a scared look on her face.
"I don't know but I'll go find out. Go home, okay?"
"No I want to go with you."
"No you can't. Stay here."
"I'm coming with you."
"No your not." And I took off running towards the noise.
I'm the fastest runner I know so she won't be able to keep up with me. I felt bad about leaving her but I don't want her to hurt. Also if Drea wakes up and sees her with me I'm sure to get a beating if Papa doesn't show up.
As I get closer to where the noise was something was giving me a bad feeling. That's when Leah started speaking.
"You need to be careful Lex."
"Of what? Leah, whats wrong? Are you getting a bad feeling too?" As I speak that the noise found me.
A giant kodiak bear is right in front of me teeth bared,charging towards me. I hurried to dodge it. I'm at a loss because the bears have always been friendly to me and Papa before. So I'm not sure whats wrong with this one. I started to back away when out of nowhere it's eyes changed to a fiery red color. Papa warned me about this. This wasn't a bear... it was a witch. It changed from the bear form to a cloaked woman.
"Now to finally be rid of this unwanted mistake."
I know that voice. It can't be true though, it can't be! As she takes off her hood there is no more doubt.
"Drea?"
"Freak."
"That's not my name!"
"Should I care what your name is?"
"I think so since your the one brought me into this world."
Her eyes went wide at that. But quickly changed back to her cold hearted demeanor.
"He told you. Well no matter you won't be here for much longer." She says with a smile as she blast me with a ball of magic.
I'm knocked into a tree 30 feet away. I let out a screamed because of the impact.
"God please strengthen me." I whisper.
"God can't help you. Why would he help a mistake?"
"Who said she was a mistake?"
I look up and see Papa.
"Papa?"
"How could you do this to your own blood?"! He screams at Drea.
But she however is not moved at all by what he said.He runs to me but then I see that Sia was behind him. And she heard everything.
"Sia, my darling go home. I'll be right there." She tells her in a loving motherly tone that makes my skin crawl.
"You are a monster." Sia says to her.
"What did you say to me?" Turning around to look Sia in the eyes.
"Your a monster!!! Treating your own child this way. Why are you trying to kill my sister?!"
Then out of nowhere Drea slapped Sia. This is maddness, complete and total madness. Drea then screams.
"That freak is a filthy animal and a abomination!"
Drea then gets what I believe she deserves from Sia.
SLAP!
Sia then looks her right in the eyes with courage and bravery saying...
"That child is your daugther."
