Date night

Connor noticed that Hank had been feeling down after what happened with Gavin. Whenever anyone insulted Connor it was like they were insulting Hank too. He decided that he'd take Hank out on a small date.  "Where are we going again?" Hank asked climbing into the passenger seat "You'll see. I've got a few things planned for this evening" Connor smiled as he started the car After a short while of driving they pulled up somewhere Hank didn't recognise. Connor got out of the car and walked over to hank. He grabbed his hand and began walking towards the building. Once they entered it they joined a small queue and waited. "Connor what're you up to?" Hank questioned "Just wait Lieutenant" Connor laughed a little at Hank's curiosity "It better not be something stupid..." They reached the front of the line "can we get two pairs of skates for a 1 hour session please?" Connor asked then gave the employee their shoe sizes and then paying them. They were given their skates and walked into another room. In front of them was a large ice rink with people swirling and dancing around. The two sat down and began putting on their skates "Ice skating?" Hank snickered as he tied his laces "you really are a softie aren't you?" "I've done some research and I found that going on dates is very common for humans and it's a way to strengthen the connection with their partner. Ice skating is something many couples do as it can test trust between one another so neither fall" Connor smiled standing up. He grabbed Hank's hanks and helped him stand up "I'm holding your hand so if I fall you're falling..."  "That's okay Lieutenant, you won't fall" Connor held is hand and headed for the ice. Hank was already shaking. Connor gently helped hank into the ice. Hank grabbed the hand rail and wouldn't let go "I'm going to stay here for a minute... sort myself out a bit. Go skate around if you want" Hank said, trying to stabilise his feet Connor let go of Hank as the older man placed both hands on the rail, knees wobbling.  Connor began skating on the ice. Hank looked over at him as he jumped and span around. Connor began getting looks some in awe and others confused. He then skated over to Hank and put his hand against the wall beside him "Hey" Connor smiled "Hey..." hank repeated, blushing "You ready to try skating now Lieutenant?" "Do I have a choice?" "Not really" Connor laughed grabbing Hank's hands. They began walking into the centre of the ice "f**k, Connor I'm going to fall!" Hank yelled Hank tightened his grip on Connor's hands "Just take baby steps. Left foot forward then push it back. Right step forward then push it back" Connor said comfortingly. Hank did as he was told but still wobbled around like he was drunk. Connor moved his hands so they were on Hank's hips to support him and hank grabbed his arms. After a 30 minutes of skating Hank began to move around faster. Connor tried to get him to spin but Hank refused to do so.  Hank then grabbed Connor's hand and they began skating hand in hand. Hank looked over at Connor who was smiling and smiled back, a light blush on both of their faces.  Another half an hour later and they were sat in a caffe that was built into the ice rink. They both had a cup of tea and Hank had a small piece of cake. "You know considering the fact I almost s**t myself out there that was pretty fun" Hank said taking a bite of his cake "I'm glad you had fun Lieutenant but there's actually more I've got planned" Connor beamed "There's more?"  "Well since we're out on a date I thought we might as well make the most of it and do a few things"  they finished their drinks and headed to the car. It was still light outside. They drove for a while then parked in a car park. They walked a bit until they found a small shop. Connor made hank wait and went in on his own. He shortly returned with a bag and they continued walking. They then reached a small bench and sat on it.  Hank looked around noticing the view. They could see most of Detroit from where they were sat and had a perfect view of the sun moving behind the houses. The sky turned from a blue to a red and purple colour. Hank smiled slightly then looked over at Connor. The android pulled out a flask and two mugs, he handed a mug to hank and poured some of the contents of the flask into his cup. It was lightly steaming. Connor repeated this into his mug then put the flask back. He then pulled out two boxes and handed one to hank. The older man opened it to find fish and chips. "I know it's not the healthiest of meals but I know you humans like to eat it from time to time so I suppose it's a little treat" Connor smiled, opening his box with a smaller meal "Connor, you're going to eat?" Hank asked, shocked "Well since I've been acting more human I suppose it's only right for me to engage in human activities like eating and drinking. That way I can feel alive... because... maybe I am alive" he picked up a chip and placed it in his mouth Hank was surprised about this. Connor had changed since he met him and was acting more human than ever. Maybe all of the deviants were right... maybe they were alive... The two watched the view and enjoyed their meal. They then got closer to each other and began hugging. Hank placed his head on top of Connor's and sighed. He felt happy... happy that Connor was becoming more human... happy that they could spend time together... happy that he could feel Connor in his arms "So Connor... what was this all about?" Hank asked "Am I not allowed to take you on a date Lieutenant? We have been dating for practically half a year now" Connor replied "Of course you're allowed... but... why now? Why'd you think it was necessary to do all of this?" Connor placed his head on Hank's chest "well, I noticed you've been feeling depressed again recently and I wanted to make you feel better. I wanted to make you feel happy and have a good time. And I suppose I wanted to spend more time with you..." Connor admitted Hank let out a chuckle and played with Connor's hair. They watched as the sun completely disappeared then began walking back to the car -one hour later- Hank gently pressed his lips against Connor's and Connor pressed his back. Connor felt Hank's hands moving around his body, feeling his curves and bumps. The android felt something pressing and rubbing against him. He moved his hips and spread his legs giving hank more access to his body.  "Connor... I can't do this" hank sighed stopping his movements "Why not Lieutenant?"  Connor asked "We've had a great night and I'm really thankful but... I don't want to ruin it by f*****g you. We've had a cute couple moment Connor and I feel like doing this will just... ruin it. I want to do this but... not now" "That's okay Lieutenant" Connor gently planted a kiss on his lips "if you don't want to do this I won't force you. As long as you've had a good night and are feeling better that's all that matters" Hank nodded and kissed Connor back. They then hugged and slowly fell asleep in each other's arms. Hank fell asleep first and then Connor did. It seemed he was able to preform many more human activities. He ate, drank and slept. Connor was becoming human...
