TW: disturbed thought patterns
I was in my hotel room reviewing the list of Alphas, trying to deduce where Jade could’ve ended up. There were several states to consider. Jade didn’t take an airplane anywhere according to my P.I. His canvas of the major bus stops and trains stations turned up empty. She didn’t own a car and she never registered one before she left. I knew she had help to leave…but who? On a whim two weeks ago, the P.I. decided to look up Katie’s vehicle registry and to my utter shock, she had registered a Dodge Intrepid in her name 3 days before Jade disappeared.
