This whole trial never should have happened!! The Council hit me with charges I didn’t even know they were charging me with. I am nervous though that the guard and stupid housekeeper’s bodies were found. But if they can’t prove what killed them since they’ve been dead for months, I’m home free. Not to mention I got rid of the foxglove tincture long ago. They’ve got nothing! I faced the elders and showed them I'm not afraid of them.
“Miss Phillips, did you kill your father the former Alpha Simon Phillips?” One of the Elders asked me.
“NO!”
“What about your former Beta, Tom DeLucca?”
“NO!”
“We saw the video evidence of the state of your pack after we took you into custody. Explain that video.”
