Ryan’s POV
When they came out of the hospital, I noticed how upset Gemma was. I walked to see if I could help, but she shifted into her wolf and ran into the forest. Alpha Amos stood there, heartbreak in his face.
“Alpha, I’ve known Gemma since we were kids. She did this when her mother died. She would go off somewhere, come back and be fine. Give her a little time, I’m sure this is a lot for her to handle.” I reassured him.
“I know Ryan. Thank you. Can you do me a favor and go check on the human girl that came here a couple of days ago? I want to be around for Gemma when she comes back and Dr. Rhodes finishes the autopsy.”
