Moving from hot weather to freezing cold weather wasn't easy for Angel. She thought the move would be better because she would be getting away from her abusers. Will living in another place really help get her away from the harm she already lived through? He was following her, her step-grandpa Charles was helping them move. At least she didn't have to ride in the car with him like he had wanted. Nope she got to sit with her cousin that were helping with the big move across 2 states. Angel was happy she was going to be able to be with her dad again, she had missed him so much when he left last year to get settled in a job and an apartment for them.
They were almost to their new destination and Angel was going to be able to see her dad Ezekiel. He was her Hero had always been, she was attached to his hip whenever he was around. Her dad was always fun when he would drink because he would give her money to buy sweets.
They were meeting her dad Ezekiel at his job at the Dairy farm he had been working at since he moved to the PNW. Angel had gotten the experience of his job the year before when he came up to look at the job. Her dad was trying to sneak out of the apartment they were loving in California when she felt he was leaving his place. She got up and saw him getting dressed and started crying. He gave in and let her come.
Angel was always happy when she didn't have to near her Grandpa Charles because she knew he wouldn't leave her alone. She felt that she had to go with her dad because everything was always better when he was around. He always let her stay at his side whenever he was home from work or she would try and go with her mom when she would care for the old lady she helped take care of. Mrs. Patty was always fun to be around she would let Angel play with her face paint.
They arrived at her dads job at the dairy farm and the smell for her siblings was not good. Angel on the other hand loved it she got out and ran to look for her dad where they milked the cows. Her mom Georgia tried to stop her but it was too late Angel ran fast to get to her daddy. He was cleaning the cows hooves before he set them up to milk them. Angel had done this before when she came with her dad last year. Ezekiel saw Angel as she was turning the corner and bent down to hug her. She was so so happy she was with her best friend.
