Chapter 3: Racheal is back!!!!!

We were served different varieties of food, and the table was filled up. I considered this as waste, since we won't be able to finish all of it. I mean, I was doing well myself but I didn't get to waste food like this. We ate to our satisfaction and all the food were delicious, but Dave kept complaining about the cooking. Either it was under cooked or over cooked. I pitied the cook who was there receiving all forms of insult from him without a word. I decided to say something to calm Dave down, but he just shut me up. I was surprised, but I just kept quiet. After the meal I was too tired and decided to go home. I didn't want to spend another minute with Dave. I went and Dave's driver opened the door for me. I was about entering when Dave stopped me. He apologized to me and told me it was never going to happen again. I forgave him and we hugged, I felt a lot better after the hug. I entered the car and he promised to call me later on. Few minutes later we were at my house, and the driver came down to open the door. I got down and told him he could leave, but he insisted on staying till I enter the house, based on Dave's instructions. I got my key from my bag and was about to open the door when I realized it already open. I panicked because I was the only one that lived in my house and I was sure nobody had the spare key except Racheal who was not yet back from outside the country."miss Clara is everything alright" the driver asked, he must have noticed how I stood in front of the door." No everything isn't alright, my door is open". "What, miss Clara step back let me handle this. He drew a gun out of his pocket and I was shocked to why he had a gun, but there were way bigger things in my mind. Who could have entered my house. He entered into the house and I followed closely behind. He switched on the lights and low and behold it was Racheal. "Hi girl, I didn't hear you when you came in" I was surprised, she's back!!!!!!. With excitement I ran to her and we hugged." I missed you". "I missed you more", but wait how come your back?, I mean we spoke yesterday and you didn't tell me you were coming back today". Ehhn it was suppose to be a surprise, besides I wasn't sure if I was going to come back today". "Then what changed your mind?" "You changed my mind, after I heard from marie about your new man. "Ehhn ehhn" we heard a cough. "Oh sorry, ehmm Racheal this is Dave's driver and this is my best friend. I introduced them to each other. "Nice to meet you" Racheal spoke. " "Same here, now miss Clara seeing that you're fine,if you don't mind I would love to take my leave". "Okay....that reminds me, you haven't told me your name". "The name's Pete". "Alright Pete see again next time and thanks for today". "Bye ma'am".

" Uhnn look who they called ma'am". "Don't think to much about it rache". Meanwhile why did he follow you in, and why was he with a gun?. We thought someone robbed me that why he followed me in, but as for the gun, I don't know why he had one, besides his boss is a very rich man so I am sure it's for protection". "Look I don't know this guy and I haven't met him yet, but I think you should take things easy all right, do not rush things and seek the face of God in everything". Racheal was also a strong christian as well, I guess I was the only un serious one among them."Alright ma, you know marie is the detective but you behave more of a detective than she does". "Tell me something I don't know meanwhile gist me about the new guy you met" she said excitedly. I gisted her of everything, well except for the part where he shut me up. I mean he apologized and I forgave him, there's no need of opening old wounds. After that we gisted about random things and ate some few snacks since I had already eaten from Dave's house and Racheal was not in the mood to eat something heavy. I knew she wasn't going home today so after watching some movies on Netflix we just slept off on the couch. By nine pm I got woken up by my phone ringing, when I saw who it was I stood up and went into the room so I don't wake Racheal up with the noise. "Hi Dave". Hi Clara, I heard what happened". "Yeah we thought I got robbed but it was my friend"." How did she get the key to your house though?". "Oh well my best friends have spare keys to my house,and she just came into the country so she came directly to my house". "Why, doesn't she have a house?". "She does". "Then why let her stay there?". "Dave she's my friend and I don't see anything wrong with sleeping over at a friend's house, besides it my own house not yours". "Alright I'm sorry, I just don't want anything to happen to you". "I am fine". "Alright just take care of yourself". "I will good night"
