Oputu and his troop returned to the palace in the evening and immediately the king saw them coming, he ran out quickly to meet them. He had been worried sick and unable to think about anything but the guards he had sent to search for Carim. Even when he had been told about his daughter's behaviour and her passing out, he had only ordered that she be treated in her room and had not gone to see her. Nothing really mattered that time except the traitor that escaped. He felt he was going crazy with each passing moment without knowing the status of their search and when he heard that Oputu had returned, he had been overjoyed, knowing full well that there was a positive news; Oputu was not one to return without something positive.
