Freida approached me with a knife in her hand. I had left the Alpha's estate without any guards or anybody that can answer my call. I had no idea she was going to threaten my life when I met her because she is my friend. "Please…" I pleaded. "If you think I have been so bad to you or anybody else that you cannot forgive me, please consider my unborn child. I am six months pregnant, and killing me will also kill the child growing inside. "Shut up!" Freida shouted. I couldn't believe this was coming from someone I considered a best friend, I consider her a sister. "Please…" I tried again. "I am willing to make amends if I insulted you. I'll do whatever you say as long as you spare my life." Freida smirked devilishly. "The only thing you can do for me is to die." Freida spoke devilishly. "I'm not doing this because you've harmed me. I'm doing this to have your friend, Alpha Brent. You cannot be the only one who has good fortune in this world. I cannot have him with you. "I'll have to eliminate you." "I am leaving Alpha Brent!" I shouted. "I am going to vanish forever and never return here. "Please let me go. I pleaded" "Yes, you are going to disappear." Freida grinned. Freida stabbed me right then, oblivious to the fact that I was pregnant. I collapsed to the ground, moaning in agony and cursing myself for being so naive to trust Freida. I should have taken precautions and not done what she had said. But, what could I do? The deed have been done, I have been betrayed Freida was supposed to be my best friend. I had no idea she was an adversary. She was simply acting as a friend when, in reality, she was an opponent. She was a hypocrite! A close enemy. O! I never saw this coming. I knew I would die. I was losing energy and blood at the same time, so I couldn't say anything else. My eyes were blurry, and I couldn't see her clearly again. I attempted to speak with all of my remaining energy. "I will come back, Freida," I whispered in agony. "And when I do, I will have to kill you and make you regret this action." I died. That was supposed to be the end, but it wasn't. The moon goddess was not going to let my death go in vain, and my killers would live in peace. And yes, I did not resurrect. What happened to me was one of the oddest, craziest, and most unusual. I was reborn. ****************** How did this happen? Amelia, Buena's mate and Savannah Pack Beta, gave birth to me. This was not the same pack to whom I was born in my previous incarnation. Buena and Amelia were great parents. They were the parents I had never had in my previous life. I lost both of them in a fire when I was eighteen, but I was not abandoned. A new beta was appointed, and I was unable to stay in the beta's mansion. However, the Alpha insisted that I relocate to his estate. There, I met Cal, the Alpha's son. He was a gentle and humble teenager who was roughly seven years older than me. Soon after, his father died, and he became the Alpha of the Savannah Pack. I was by his side when the incident occurred. We were close friends, but I avoided getting too close to him. I still had to get my retribution, and when I turned 21, I discovered that Alpha Cal was my mate. He marked me, and we performed a formal mating ceremony. His purpose for being my partner was to love me, but mine was different. I came back for a purpose. I needed Alpha Cal because I intended to exact revenge. He possessed the ability to assist me in exacting the vengeance I sought. On the night of our mating ritual, we had our first s*x. His left hand stroked my hair, while his right hand rubbed my ass. "I have a wish to make." I started out. I had given it enough thought before I said it. I had everything planned out since the day we started organizing our mating ceremony. Alpha Cal, who appeared to anticipate this, simply nodded. "Go ahead, Holly," Alpha Cal stated simply. He kissed me on the forehead now. At first, I had no idea where to begin. But I felt I had to be honest with him. This was the only way to gain his cooperation, so I had to give it a shot! "I have been given birth to in the past." I began quietly. My heart was racing, and I knew he'd feel it when we were cuddling. I could see Alpha Cal looking at me, worried. "Of course, you were born in the past." It's been nearly 21 years since you were born, and it must be in the past!" Alpha Cal spoke to me. He didn't get what I meant. I realized I wasn't being clear enough in my speech. "I wasn't born twenty-one years ago, Alpha Cal," I told him. "Actually, I died 21 years ago. "I mean the real me." When Alpha Cal heard this, he was surprised. He stopped to cuddle me and then sat up with so much confussion showing on his face. I performed the same thing while picking up a cloth to hide my naked boobs. That was necessary because I did not want him to be distracted by that sight while I was conveying such important information. "But you are here," Alpha Cal attempted to put in place. He was clearly confused. "I can feel, hear, and see you. I've known you since you were a baby. A ghost does not have to grow up. You're not a ghost, yet you claim to have died once. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm not sure if it makes sense to you. I exhaled. "I was killed by Freida, the mate of Alpha Brent of the Badland Pack." I went on to say. "She was my friend, but she stabbed and killed me when I was pregnant with my unborn child." "You were pregnant?" "For whom?" Alpha Cal wanted to know. I wasn't sure if he had believed me up to this point. "I used to be mated with Alpha Brent," I told him simply. Alpha Cal was uneasy hearing this. All I wanted was for him to believe what I told him. "How do you expect me to believe you?" Alpha Cal asked. "Frankly, everything you've stated makes sense and adds up, but I still don't believe you. I don't believe you have any evidence to prove to me that you are telling the truth. I considered it carefully. "I do have evidence!" I told him. I've kept this memory since I knew I'd need it later. "Go ahead!" Alpha Cal exclaimed. "Do you remember when you visited the Badland Pack when you were only six years old?" I asked him repeatedly. Alpha Cal sprang out of bed and stood up now. I could see his entire, bare self. His p***s was jingling. "How on Earth do you know that?" Alpha Cal inquired surprisingly. "You weren't even born when I went on that trip." Or, did one of the old maids tell you?" I smiled. "No maid told me..." I responded. "Do you remember how one of your shoes went missing while you were in the Badland Alpha mansion? You were seeking the misplaced shoe and wandered into the garden." "I can vividly remember that incident." Alpha Cal exclaimed eagerly. "But I didn't tell anyone. "How did you find out?" "I knew because I was an eyewitness." I told him gently. "How? "You have not been born." Alpha Cal spoke in despair. "I have been born already." I explained. "Can you still remember the lady in the garden who helped you look for your missing shoe and who also took you back to your villa?" "I remember…" Alpha Cal responded. He was breathing heavily, and I could see he was shocked. "I was the lady who helped you!" I informed him harshly. This genuinely sent chills down my spine. I was quite emotional about this. I watched Alpha Cal sit on the stark floor. "I can remember." Alpha Cal informed me. "I can now tell that the facial appearance is the same." I smiled. Now I stood up from the bed and approached Alpha Cal. He looked terrified as I touched his shoulder. "Don't be afraid of me, Alpha Cal," I told him plainly. "I need you to help me exact revenge on Freida and Brent." "Help me!" I was ready for his response. I knew Freida and Brent would be in danger very soon. I planned to avenge myself in a big way.
