A Whisper In The Air

I had just fallen asleep when I heard the wind blow softly. "Did I leave the window open?" I got out of bed and walked over to the window."Nope windows locked. Maybe I was just dreaming. I felt a breeze. Or maybe a draft from the hall." I headed back to bed and closed my eyes. I had shot right outta bed when I heard a soft voice in the breeze say.
"HHHHHHHHHEEEEEEEEELLLLLLOOOOO."
I looked swiftly around the room trying to see if I could see someone. Yet, nothing was there. "What the f**k was that. I'm really going crazy now. It couldn't be Alpha Lestant. We haven't heard from the wolves in months." I calmed myself down and walked to my office and sat at my desk. I then looked up and had noticed my doors to my balcony were still open. "That explains why I've been hearing things." I walked over to close them. That's when I saw it. The flames had gone. And yet the forest wasn't even singed at the least bit. "What the hell is really going on?" I asked myself."This fired had been burning for months now and out of nowhere it's gone?" I thought to myself. " Then I hear Someone say hello to me in the wind. No i'm definitely going crazy." "First I see the fire a different color then I hear voices and now I see and unburned forest that was just on fire for months?"
"gooooorrrrrggggeeeooouussss"
What the hell! There it was again. But this time it said something else.
"h-hello?" "Is anyone there?"
"Ahh you did hear your highness." The voice whispered softly.
"Who are you? And what is your purpose here?"
"Hahahahahaha you think i'm with you right now?" the soft voice said
"Wait a minute. Who is this?"
"Who do you think it is the Vampire Queen?" The soft voice had turned hard.
"This isn't Lestant is it?"
"Looky looky we have a smart Vampire here."
"Is this Marcus?"
"You're getting warmer gorgeous."
"Is this the leader of the Lone wolves?"
"Hahahahahaha! Is that what they call us? I'm an alpha of the rogue moon wolves."
"Are you the one that joined the crescent wolves and ambushed my soldiers and the blood crescent wolves?" I said with a deeper tone.
"BINGO!"
"What is it that you want?"
"Isn't it obvious? We know your hiding the Blue crescent wolves in there. Now just hand them over and no harm shall come to your clan."
Why does he think we are hiding the wolves? I thought
"I assure you, We are not hiding the wolves, they fled the fight and they haven't been heard from since."
"Lies!!!"
"I will allow you to search my clan here if you don't believe me."
Dead silence for at least twenty minutes. My emergency phone rang on my desk.
"Hello Queen Blood-King speaking."
"Hello this is Quil the Alpha of the Rogue Moon wolves." He had said in a stern voice.
"Hello Alpha. How can I be of assistance to you?"
"hehehe I want to schedule a meeting between your clan and my pack." He chuckled and said.
"I assure you that could be arranged just as long as I know this meeting is about and that no feuding will resign."
"It's about a treaty offer and about the Blue Moon pack. And I assure you your highness there will be no feuding from my wolves."
"Very well Alpha we shall see you at sunrise. Goodnight Alpha."
"Goodnight your highness."
I hung up the phone, walked over to my balcony door and began to shut it. Then I heard a whisper.
"GGGGGoooooddddnnnniiiiggggghhhhttt gggggooooorrrreeeeooooouuuussss" Quil's voice had faded off into silence.
What the hell now I got two f*****g wolves toying with me. f*****g assholes!
The Meeting
The sun had just been rising when I got a knock at the door.
Knock! Knock! Knock.
"your highness we have a problem." I got dressed as fast as I could and went to open the door.
"What is it commander?"
"Sorry about your highness, but we have an unfamiliar company."
"Who commander?"
"It's the lone wolves from the ambush."
"Oh, yes They had called and asked to have a meeting. I didn't have time to let everyone know."
"What shall I do your highness?"
"Take them to the meeting office. Give them whatever they'd like. I'll down shortly."
"Yes, ma'am."
After the commander left. I jumped into the shower and then got dressed. I then started walking towards the meeting office. The commander had just walked out.
"There you are your highness. Are you sure you know what you are doing?"
"Yes commander. Now step aside and let me in so we can get this over with." He moved over and opened the door. Right when I stepped in it got silent.
"Good morning your highness." Said the really tall built one. I'm pretty sure that was Quil.
"Good morning."
"Your highness, we had asked for this meeting to offer you a treaty."
"Is that so? Well let's hear it."
"Well see we had captured Alpha Lestant, And we had wanted to talk to him before we turned him and his pack to the crescent wolves. He had told us about your treaty with them and explained why the crescent wolves had tried to wipe them out. So we have been hiding the pack from the crescent wolves. Which leads us to our treaty off the same as the Blue crescent wolves."
"Wow that's a lot to take in but did Alpha Lestant explain the boundaries and rules for both sides.?
"Yes your highness and we will obey them as do Lestants pack."
"Very well I will type up a contract and we shall sign and the treaty will be complete."
"Thank you your highness."
"Your welcome. My commander will show you guys to the waiting area and I shall be there shortly."
"Yes ma'am"
"Commander?"
"Yes your highness"
"Get Quil and his pack some beverages and anything else they might want."
"Yes ma'am"
They had all followed the commander to the waiting area. So I headed back down the hall to my office and started typing up the contract.
"Damn! Lestant wasn't lying, you are gorgeous."I heard Quil whisper.
"Damn it how do you guys whisper from so far away without anyone else hearing?"
"It's a wolf thing."
I had finished the contract for the treaty and started walking to the waiting area. I sat right in front of Quil and placed the contract in front of him on the coffee table with a pen.
"You sign both and take one with you as your copy."
"Yes ma'am."
"There you go your highness." Quil handed me the contract.
"Thank you now that"s done, would you guys want something to eat? Please join us for dinner."
"That would be lovely but what would we eat?"
"We have real food for our allies."
"Very well we shall see you tonight and be sure to make three times the food. I'm bringing a blue crescent with me tonight."
"Very well."
"Oh and one more thing Alpha Lestant said to inform you that he will need a clan and pack meeting when he gets here."
"Very well we shall see you at dinner."
The pack had left and I went to inform the cooking staff about dinner so they could get started as soon as possible. Then I headed back to my room and sat there typing out everything new that had happened. Then I decided to take a nap. When I had woken up it was time for dinner. I was about to head to my closet to find something nice to wear for dinner. When I heard a knock on the door.
Knock!Knock!Knock!
"Your highness, Alpha Lestant has arrived and is waiting for you in the meeting office with his pack! We will be waiting for you!"
I threw on a silky dress and headed to the meeting office. I opened the door and was greeted right away. And offered a chair at the end of the table.
"Alpha nice to see you well and alive."
"Yes thank you for your highness."
"So this meeting?"
"Yes your highness I have asked for the meeting to ask as an ally to be hidden from the crescent wolves."
"You want us to hide you?"
"Yes your walls are unreachable. And it's only until I can clear the forest of the crescent wolves."
"Very well. After dinner Commander will show you and the rest of your pack to their rooms. There are no rules. I only ask if you keep the peace."
"Yes ma'am."
We then left and headed for dinner.
