The Passion Of A Vampress

The Betrayal

I hurry up and put my top back on and climbed the tree Lestant had caught me in. He had stayed down in the lake. I then saw who was coming as a pack of wolves but I had never seen these wolves around before. They were the Spirit Moon Wolves. My blood boiled; they were not supposed to be in this land. They were constantly killing My people without a cause. Any vampire in their tracks was killed or tortured.

"What are you doing on our land? This is Blue Crescent territory!" Lestant had growled. His eyes turned dark.

"We mean no harm we were told we would find the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack here. Are you their Alpha?" Said a wolf with thick silver hair.

"I am what is your purpose here?" Alpha? I thought. Why would an Alpha break his own laws with a Queen vampire. Things started to seem really off now. I started thinking. He was an alpha and didn't tell me now there is another unwelcomed pack in the area. What was he planning?

"We are here to make a Treaty with you as long as you break your treaty with those filthy vampires."

Filthy? I nearly jumped down so I could rip his throat out. But I had looked at Lestant's face and he gave me a look like please don't. I had to figure out what was going on here.

"What is your name warrior?" Lestant asked in a stern voice.

"My Name is Marcus. Alpha of the Spirit Moon Pack." The wolf with Silver hair had said with pride.

"See here Alpha Marcus. You shall not ever come to my land and ask for a treaty and then depend we break a treaty. I am a loyal to him word." Loyal to his work? Then why was he toying with me? This wolf has got some serious explaining to do. My blood was boiling so bad inside my veins I was nearly cooked.

"I am a dominant Alpha and you will take the treaty or suffer the consequences." Marcus had said in a rough tone.

"Consequences? Get the hell of my land! You stand here and threaten me and my pack!" "There will be no treaty with wolves that have such little respect! Be gone with you!"

"You have been warned!" 

The Spirit Moon wolves were gone within a breath. Lestant had forgotten that I was still there and he left. After what I just saw I had no clue what was gonna happen. So I headed back and took extra precaution. Double all surveillance everywhere. Everyone was worried about me and kept asking if everything was all right. All I could tell them was that " I am just doing my job as Queen to keep everyone safe. I assure you there is nothing wrong just a little extra precaution that's all. 

I had sat in my office waiting to hear back from Lestant. My phone had rang. It had read allies. I had answered it.

"Hello, Queen Thanna speaking."

"Your highness, i'm sorry for this inconvenience. My name is Lucus from your ally the Blue Crescent Moon wolfs. my Alpha commanded I call you. Earlier today we had received a threat. At this point in time we don't know what exactly is gonna happen but my Alpha believes that we may need our ally help." 

"As Queen I shall send warriors to help. Tell your Alpha I Appreciate his informant. My warriors shall be there by dawn with supplies."

I called the head of the guard  "Yes your highness?" "There had been a threat to our allies; they had requested help. I need you to gather our warriors and send then down with supplies as well for the wolves."

"Yes your highness."

It was dawn my warriors had arrived. I stand on my office balcony looking out to the forest. I Start to see smoke and light from the left then the right. The smell of fire filled the air. I called the pack to warn then but no answer. The Fire began to rise and spread fast.

Burning Fires

The fire been getting so big I stare into the forest and see nothing but flames and smoke. I try to seek out any little bit of life in the forest with my vampress hearing. "Your highness." A very faint voice said. I tried to focus to find out who it was. "Your highness we can't find the wolfs we lost them during the fight."  " The fires are getting to big we are heading back." The warrior had said to me breathing heavily.  "Be she to gather as many soldiers as u can and call out to the ones unseen that they need to head back."

Nearly and hour had past still no word from the wolves. The soldiers had arrived back. They were covered in ashes from head to toe. For being cold blooded they're bodies were steaming hot. You could see the steam on some of them and the burns on others. It takes longer for vampires to heal from fire burns.

The commander had come straight to my office to discuss what had happened. 

"you're highness."

"yes commander?"

"I'm here to report what happened in the forest."

"Proceed commander."

"When had arrived we found the Blue crescent wolves. Fighting off their own."

Their own I thought. Oh damn I bet it was the f*****g crescent moon wolves. f*****g filthy dogs. I thought to myself.

"Their own? Explain commander."

" When we arrived they were fighting other wolves at your highness."

"What did these other wolves look like?"

" They were more rugged than the blue moon wolves. I do believe they were from a different pack, your highness."

"Was there another alpha present?"

"There was a wolf that looked like an alpha but i'm not one hundred percent sure."

"Commander,were there any names said between the two?"

"Alpha Lestant had asked the other wolf I mentioned I believe his name was Marcus, why they were attacking their own kind."

I knew it Lestant didn't take their offer and they came back with rage.

"Commander what else had gone on?"

"The wolves were fighting the other pack off trying to protect their children and we stepped in and helped and then we got ambushed by it looked like another pack but these wolves didn't really look like a pack more like side lairs I think the wolves call them lone wolves."

"Lone wolves?"

"They are the wolves that don't belong to any pack. Outsiders."

"Oh, proceed."

"The lone wolves for trying to block us in. They were pouring gasoline and lighting it around us."

"Were you able to get a good look or able to see who was commanding the lone wolves?"

"Yes, I saw a huge jet black wolf with fluorescent green eyes. He had ordered the others to make sure they didn't leave and opened for us vampires to escape." " His voice was real stern and deep. Like if he was speaking from his core."

"How did you manage to escape the fire?"

"We jumped into the trees and the wolves followed and the smoke was filling the air quickly and soon we couldn't see much through it." "Me and the other vampires found an unlit place to gather. When we were back on the ground I  had noticed that there were no wolves in sight. I commanded to soldiers to spread out and search for them."

"Has anyone reported seeing any of the other wolves? The Crescent wolves or the Lone wolves?"

"No your highness not a single one. It's like all the wolves had just disappeared. We searched for hours and found nothing. Yet somehow the fires weren't dying down they were getting bigger by the minute. So I called out to you to tell you we needed to head back."

"Thank you commander. Go get yourself cleaned up and keep me updated if any new information is said."

"yes your highness."

I closed the door behind him and locked it. I soon found myself walking to my balcony. I stood there looking out into the forest. "why haven't the fires died down?" I thought. "The fires were still burning bright as day. It's been several hours now. Shouldn't they have died down by now?" I asked myself. I stood there and closed my eyes and focused on the forest to see if I heard any form of life within the flames.

Lost Love 

Standing there hearing nothing but the fire popping and the trees and leafs sizzling. I started to think maybe this was just planned by that Alpha. Maybe he really was just toying with me so he could say that the Blood Moon Vampress Queen was weak. Maybe I was overthinking that he could be really hurt or even dead. Or maybe he did do all this just to run and never be heard from because he was ashamed he was into me a vampire, a queen vampire at that.  

"Ugh!!! I need to stop thinking!" I hadn't realized I had yelled till the commander busted in with an alarmed look on his face.

"your highness don't frighten me like that."

"I'm sorry commander."

"Are you all right Thanna?"

I instantly looked up to see my mother standing in the doorway. "Yes madre i'm fine."

"Mija, I know when you are lying. Now tell me whats really going on." She said with a worried looked on her face. I couldn't tell her as an elder that I fell in love with a werewolf and an ally werewolf at that. She would definitely blow her top.

"Madre, I am fine, just a little stressed out. One of our wolf ally's had called in for help I sent troops but we failed as an ally to them and now they are nowhere to be found."

"Ahh, that would be stressful. Buy mija did you respond right at the call or did you not make a decision fast enough?"

"No madre I responded right away. Sent the soldiers as soon as I could. The commander had said they had fought together." 

"Then mija you didn't fail the wolves. They are probably hiding from the other wolves that ambushed them."

"Madre thank you for helping me."

"Anytime mija."

She then left. I walked over to my desk to write down detail by detail on what had happened and was reported by the commander.  A cool breeze had come in through the balcony doors. "I thought I closed that." I walked over to close it. When I got to the door I looked out to the forest and I was so amazed the Fire had somehow gone from burning red and yellow to fluorescent purple and blue. I couldn't believe what I was looking at. I stood there admiring the beautiful flames in the distance. Then I noticed something shiny. I focused on it and it wasn't something shiny.I was a big pair of blue eyes.
