replied" no my child I was without child in my sojourn to life that is while I'm alone in my old age" and ijele" replied don't worry I will help you get the water pot to your hut and I will help you get water everyday till I leave here " the old woman replied "no don't worry my child don't worry about this old woman I will be fine just help put the pot of water on my head I will be on my way" and ijele replied "nne I insist you have a child in me today you will not have to come to the river to fetch water again as long as I'm around" and she put the water pot on her head and followed the old woman and they went as far as the outskirt of the town and went as far as the forest of the gods and when they got there the woman told her "you can give me my pot and go back thanks for all you have done I will continue my way here" and ijele replied "no nne I promised to help you get your water pot to your hut that's what I must do so I will know where I will bring water for you to tomorrow morning" for you and they continued till they got to the middle of the forest and the found a little hut and the old woman said "my daughter put the pot inside and come and go back the forest of the gods is no where for a little child like you" and ijele replied "don't worry I will be fine I'm not afraid of anything" she went inside and put the pot of water down and came out and asked nne why do you live here all alone and the old woman replied "since I have no child to take care of me I came to the forest of the gods so that the gods can take care of me and they have always taken care of me so far my child start heading home before your people start looking for you" and ijele replied "ok nne but I will bring water tomorrow morning don't bother coming to the river please" and she left and she continued to bring the old woman water for seven days and on the seventh day the old woman told her as usual to drop the pot inside the hut on coming out the little hut has transformed to a very beautiful place with different precious stone and the old woman has transformed into a beautiful shinny woman with different precious stone all over her body her crown was made of fishes in water cycling around her head her breast was covered with shinny sea shell and she said "my child don't be afraid I'm idemili the goddess of the seven seas and oceans" immediately ijele fell down on her knees and bowed and the goddess continued "I wanted to see your heart and these past seven days I have seen it you have proven your heart to me and I'm ready to bless you ask of anything I will give you" and ijele still kneeling and head bowed said "oh great goddess do with me as you please" and the goddess replied "you have a kingdom to rule so I give you a staff of authority and this bow" and the two items landed in front of ijele and ijele replied please my goddess where are the arrows and the goddess laughed out the sound of her laughter was like that of the sea waves and she replied "my child this is my personal bow you don't have to use arrows to shot the bow just draw and shot" and ijele thanked the goddess and was about to leave when the goddess said "no you can't leave you will go for fortification" in the abode of Amadioha wait the chief servant would come get you not long after this a horse with a chariot made of lightning bolt arrived and a man called out ijele favoured of the gods get in and ijele got in and they drove off in the speed of light and they arrive amadioha abode everywhere was shinny the palace of amadioha was made of thunder bolt even down to the floors when ijele was ushered to amadioha she fell on her knees and bowed head down "my Lord thank you for inviting a mere mortal" to your palace when amadioha replied her, his voice was like a thousand thunder striking "my child this has always been your home I'm going to prepare you for I'm ready to bless umuona kingdom for their worship to me I will make the kingdom so great that there will be no kingdom that would be it equal you will be here for twenty and one day during this time you will be turned into a goddess" and ijele thanked him and she was escorted out of his presence by the chief servant and on the twenty first day of her stay in amadioha palace she was ushered into his presence again and he said to her "today your fortification is completed but you must be warned you must not eat any food made with palm oil because you are now a demi goddess you are now above all human nothing made by any human can harm you now take your leave return to your people and rule with grace" and ijele replied "thank you my Lord I will always lead my people in worship of your name" and she was about to leave the way she came when amadioha said "you are no longer a human you are now a demi goddess so you travel as one tap your right feet thrice" and see what happens and a little white ram and a sword was presented to her by the chief servant and amadioha said "my daughter go and be great take good care of the ram" she tapped her right feet thrice and she disappeared and appeared in her father palace while she was away in the forest of the gods for twenty one days, in the human world because seven days it has been three years (for seven days in the land of the gods is one year) her father has been worried for the first few months and search parties was sent to look for her the priestess of idemili was arrested but the chief priest told the king to release the priestess that the princess is with the gods and she will be back home soon her mother has cried and cried till she became sick so on the day she reappeared in her father palace the solider that saw her first ran with all his might to the king throne room fell on his knees and bowed "long live your majesty my king your daughter is back" and the king replied "which of my daughters" he was still painting from his race trying to catch his breath and immediately chief ude shouted "speak up this boy stop and the king rose immediately and the chiefs present all stood up and bowed and the king walk quickly as his legs can carry him and hugged ijele and said "my beautiful daughter you are welcome I will never let you leave my sight again and today I'm happy for this guards'' and three guards ran in and fell on their knees "your majesty" and the king said "go to the kitchen tell them to go to kill the biggest cow in this palace we will have a feast tonight my daughter go to your mother for she has been waiting to hold you again in her arms for so long" and ijele left and went to her mother and she got to the queen she was in her hut on her bed very sick while her servants was attending to her when ijele entered the hut all the servants fell on their knees and bowed "welcome my princess" and she walked immediately to her mother "what is wrong with her" and one of the servants replied "my princess your mother the queen has been like this for seven months now are the herbs used on her has proven abortive" and she touched her mother and immediately her eyes brighten with pure white light and immediately the queen was healthy again and she saw her daughter sitting by her she rubbed her eyes and said "I'm dead or dreaming is this my ijele" and ijele replied mama "I'm back" and the mother held her breast and shouted with all her strength "so my chi never left me so the gods didn't let me become a laughing stock in this palace" and she burst into tears while she was crying ijele joined her immediately there was thunder striking everywhere and rain began falling a heavy rain the not seem in the kingdom for a long time and the queen dried her eyes and said "my daughter what happened" and ijele narrated what happened, her mother was so please to have her again in her arms all she was saying was thanks be to the gods.
