well love they say Can melt the hearts of kings and royals this is the story of ijele . The king of udoala was the most powerful King around he was king over seven kingdoms he has army has much as the sand of the earth he was rich and powerful his palace was blessed with gold, bronze, sliver he had a hundred thousand horses all the kingdoms around him was scared to make war with him except umuona kingdom, this kingdom was made up of just three village but the warriors was brave and the kingdom was blessed with natural resources they had a gold mine and a bronze mine, they were the richest kingdom around. A average citizen in umuona kingdom was considered a very rich man in other kingdom around, this made the King of udoala always wanted the kingdom of umuona for himself he believes himself a god he had sons and daughters and they were all proud. His heir apparent was a general in his army he was strong brave but he very proud man he see no woman his match, Ikenna was taught from childhood that he was the descendant of the gods themselves, so no mortal was is in same level with him. the king of udoala was blessed with children boys and girls he had fourth three children in total thirteen girls thirty boys with Ikenna being the eldest son, but the King of umuona kingdom has just girls for children he had a total of ten girls and has seven wives this has always been a bother to him because age was already telling on him he was getting old and still no heir apparent to his throne, the King of udoala always saw that has a good thing. the moon was up and there was thunder striking through the sky with no signs of rain that night and a cry of a baby littered the atmosphere in the palace of the king of umuona his fourth wife has just delivered and the midwife ran to the king throne room and fell down on her face and said "your majesty long live the king your wife has just been delivered of a bouncy baby girl" the king bow his head for a long time and looked up and shouted "why !!!!! why has the gods themselves decided to forsake me after all the sacrifices I made they promised me a successor why this now not another daughter again why have my ancestor decided to turn their back on me, and leave my chi in the cross road of peril" and the the prime minister of the kingdom Chief ude rebuked the king saying "your majesty please take back your words the gods are wise they know always what is best for us" shut up chief ude"chief chike shouted "the king needs a heir now and not this nonsense you are saying" chief ude shouted "chike so you have the nerves to tell me to shut up with your inherited title you little boy when men where killing giants in battle udoala" where were you and the King shouted "enough! all of you out leave me this moment" everyone in the throne room head was bowed and they shouted together "Long lived the king" and they all left with their head still bowed down the king was angry and in a moment the chief preist of amadioha appear in the throne room and the king was not surprised because this was his usual way of visiting somewhere the king turn and looked at him and said "where are your powers, you promised me a heir to my fathers throne when I sacrificed twenty and one cows and the same number of goat and chicken you made me almost give up the entire yam in the palace yam barn, I'm not even talking about the Palm wine and dry gin all in the name of appeasing the gods, so they can give me a male child a successor and now what is this I'm hearing that my wife has a daughter again why", the chief priest replied the king "silence mortal !
