CHAPTER 62
It was hard to believe she’d been here for a full week. Naively, Megan had thought that Kitty’s health would either improve or deteriorate. She wasn’t expecting day after day with no change at all. Even Scott and Susannah seemed to be having a harder time the longer they waited in Seattle. Last night, the two of them got into a fight about whether or not Scott should return home to Orchard Grove.
Susannah didn’t want him to miss out on another full week of work. He refused to leave her side, especially with her being pregnant.
