Baxter Loop looked a lot closer on Google Maps, but Megan eventually found her way onto a long dirt road. If it weren’t for her little car emblem on the GPS screen, she would be certain she was lost. The gift shop should only be another few miles away.
Sure enough, before long she started passing signs for the Safe Anchorage Goat Farm. The gifts on their website looked really nice, and she was sure she could find something fitting for Susannah and the baby.
If she got to the store before it closed. She had to drive so slowly on this dirt and gravel she’d be cutting it pretty close.
Finally she pulled up in front of a large farm house. Off to the right was a building with a sign that said Gift Shop. The open light was still on in the window. Good.
