Megan pulled up to the hospital entrance. “How long until you want me to come back?”
Scott unbuckled. “Maybe an hour or so. You can drive Susannah home, and I’ll stay with Kitty for the night. You know where you’re going? Want me to show you how to use the GPS or anything?”
“No, I’m fine.” Did he think she used GPS to get herself around Costa Rica?
Scott paused before getting out of the car. “There’s not much, but go ahead and look around town. Walmart’s just up Main Street a little way, couple miles past the church. The Christian bookstore went out of business, or I’d send you there too.”
“It’s fine. I was thinking I’d find something for Susannah and the baby since I won’t be here by the time she delivers. Is there anything you guys need for the nursery?”
