Chapter 26 THE NEXT DAY was a quiet one, and Brody and Brian were grateful for the solitude. The day after that, Brody was still on leave, but Brian had to go back to work. Brian found time to talk to Brody a couple of times during the day, and was assured that everything was under control. He got home from work, parked his car in the garage, and entered the house in search of Brody.
