Chapter 27
SUMMER BEGAN, AND Brody and Brian quickly settled into a routine. A couple of times a week, Jasper and Sheldon would spend one of their days off at the lake house with Brody, and they took turns driving the boat while the others skied. They often stayed until Brian came home from work. One evening in June, the four men were relaxing on the screened porch, and Sheldon asked a question.
“Is it safe to go skinny-dipping here?” Sheldon said.
“I don’t see any problem with it,” Brody said, “provided it’s late at night, and we’re very quiet about it. Sound travels a long way over water, and we don’t want to disturb the neighbors.”
