Chapter 10 BRODY CAREFULLY PULLED the ski boat into position, and looked back at Sheldon for a signal. Sheldon waved a hand, and Brody pushed the throttle forward. He glanced back just in time to see Sheldon fall sideways into the lake, so he maneuvered the boat back around until it was beside the dock. “Lost my balance,” Sheldon said. “Ready to try again?” “Yeah. Give me a minute to get situated.” Sheldon’s second attempt at getting up on the skis was successful, so Brody gave him several loops around their corner of the lake, until he decided Sheldon needed to go back to shore.
