In a universe where light and void wage an eternal war, Aella , a star-priestess of the dying Starforge, is thrust into a pact of desperation. Her people’s last hope hinges on a marriage to Veyl , a Void warlord whose shadowy armies consume galaxies. But this alliance is a blade with two edges: their bond could either save the cosmos—or become the spark that ignites its end.

Aella’s defiance burns bright. She clings to her fading gods and the Starstone amulet, a relic of her

people’s glory. Veyl, however, is no mere villain. His obsidian eyes hold a fractured soul, torn between

his allegiance to the Void and a forbidden hunger for Aella’s light. Together, their powers fuse into anti-light : a weapon of devastating beauty that could either destroy the Devourer—a cosmic entity

devouring reality—or awaken it, birthing an apocalypse.

But shadows whisper secrets. Aella’s sister Lyra , once a starlit priestess, now serves the Void as its

tormented vessel. Her visions flood Aella’s mind: memories of Lyra’s fall, the Devourer’s machinations,

and a chilling prophecy. “When Traitor’s Light ignites the Bride, the Devourer shall claim his Child.”

As the Void’s grip tightens, Aella discovers the horrifying truth: her marriage to Veyl has forged a

connection far deeper than either imagined. Their child, a fusion of star and void, is the Devourer’s long-awaited heir. To stop it, Aella must choose sacrifice Veyl’s heart to sever the bond, or embrace the darkness and become the Devourer’s bride herself.

But the Void thrives on sacrifice.

Veyl’s loyalty wavers as Lyra’s influence grows, twisting Aella’s mind and body with silver scars that

pulse with anti-light. The Starforge’s last sanctuary holds a cure—or a trap. And the Devourer’s throne looms, its obsidian seat waiting to claim Aella’s soul.

With galaxies teetering on the brink, love becomes the last rebellion.

Will Aella and Veyl shatter the stars to save the cosmos, or will their love forge the throne that ends it all?

Chapter 1: The Star-Eater's Bride (Scene 1)
The obsidian altar pulsed with a faint, cold light, mirroring the dying embers of the Starforge in the distance. Aella, last priestess of her lineage, stood rigid, her white robes stark against the encroaching shadows of the Void Cult. Her fingers tightened around the smooth surface of her starlight amulet, a comforting weight against the dread coiling in her stomach. Across the altar, Veyl, warlord of the Void, was a figure sculpted from darkness itself. His armor, etched with symbols of consuming void-magic, seemed to absorb the meager light of the chamber. His face was a harsh landscape of sharp angles and shadowed planes, eyes like chips of obsidian that fixed on her with unnerving intensity. The air crackled with unspoken hostility, a tension thicker than the incense burning in than the incense burning in braziers around them– incense that smelled of ash and ozone, acrid and unwelcome. The High Priest of the Void, a gaunt man with eyes like milky quartz, droned the ancient marriage pact in a tongue that felt like gravel in Aella’s ears. He spoke of binding, of sacrifice, of the extinguishing of false light and the embrace of true darkness. Aella’s gaze flickered to Veyl’s hands, resting on the hilt of a sword that looked thirsty for light. She saw movement then, subtle, almost imperceptible – shadows around Veyl’s boots writhed, reaching, recoiling as if burned by the faint glow emanating from her amulet. He, too, seemed to notice, his obsidian eyes narrowing, fixing on the amulet with an unsettling focus. Aella lifted her chin, meeting his gaze directly, a spark of defiance flickering in her own. Let him see she was not yet extinguished.
