CHAPTER 4-SEEKS THE ANSWER

Haruto: "I was indebted to the villagers there... And you guys just killed them..."

Bandit 1: "Huh?? I'm sorry for your loss, lad. But I don't know what you're talking about. Come on, we still have to move..."

They tried to avoid Haruto. They still had urgent matters to attend to and didn't want to waste time on him. The bandits are trying to get up and leave that place.

Haruto: "I'm not finished yet; don't you dare to walk away from me...!!!" (started shouting loudly),

Annoyed beyond patience, one bandit confronted Haruto directly.

Bandit 3: "Are you really looking for death?? We've spared you, but you kept stepping over our heads. So what if we did?? What can you do?? You're just alone, you think you can take us all, huh...!!!"

The rest of the bandits started to laugh out loud as if they were underestimating him. Some people who were resting at the tea stall started to leave there quickly, as they knew something might happen. Suddenly, he takes a few steps backward, then pulls out his sword to s***h the throat of the bandit who stood in front of him with lightning speed. Surely, the remaining bandits were very shocked and confused after they saw what had happened to their fellow people. His movement was so fast that even they couldn't see it clearly, then their fellow fell to the ground by holding his throat as it was cut open. They were both quite afraid and very angry. They immediately pull out their weapons and quickly dash toward to attack. The battle between him and those bandits occurred there. Finally, the battle ended, as he slayed them one by one, until the last one begged for mercy. Turns out, most of them were lost soldiers from a small empire somewhere at war with another small empire. That's why, after their group lost, they escaped and scattered around until they became bandits. Even so, he was also wounded a little but not seriously. Actually, Haruto was not only an experienced samurai soldier but also a master of a sword technique called "Kaizan'Gosei-ryū/Kuàizhǎn'Wǔxīng-Liú (QuickSlashFiveStar-Style)". This sword technique relied on "quick draw"and "fast movement" techniques, so each of the strikes could finish the enemy in a moment and prevent the enemy from having a chance to strike back. These word techniques also include 5 different technical styles based on the star diagram, each with 5 points or 5 inner corners. Anyway, no matter how strong he is, with one man's power against a force, it's still quite unimaginable. Afterward, he went to the physician's house, where he met the elderly couple to ask for treatment. Certainly, the physician asks him what happened, and he tells the physician about the whole story. The physician had obviously already heard the village news before Haruto arrived. He can't imagine that Haruto alone has eliminated a bunch of those bad bandits. He really doesn't know whether he should praise or call Haruto reckless. But Haruto told the physician that the elder couple who had taken him in had already treated him kindly and even given him a place to stay. They both treated him like their own child. That's why Haruto thinks he must do this. At least to repay them for their kindness. So how could he let them die for nothing, while the killers were still out there roaming freely? The physician was actually close friends with the elder couple who adopted him. That's why the physician is still grateful for what Haruto did. After resting there for a while, the physician asked him something.

Physician: “So… What are you going to do next?? Still want to find the answer to your fantasy??”

Obviously, Haruto had already told the couple, the physician, and even the whole village about his time travel. However, as is normal, no one will believe what he said. They thought he was crazy, since he was wounded so badly when they found him lying down in the rice fields, so maybe his head was hurt as well. That's why he said something that was beyond reason. However, they can't deny that he’s not from this country, as he didn't understand their language at first. And the second thing, the soldier’s costume that he wore and the katana sword that he held, were totally different from what they knew, as they would never find it in this entire country. So they were confused as well, whether they were going to believe it or not, not even the physician. Only the elderly couple believes in him. He replied to the physician's question.

Haruto: “Yeah… No matter what, this is not the place where I belong. Besides, I still have some unfinished business in my own era…”

The physician knew he couldn't persuade Haruto, so rather than ask him to stop, he suggested that Haruto go to the capital city. Maybe he can find the solution there.
