There she stood in her beautiful glory, a maroon sweater and knee length spandex shorts. This girl will be the death of me. She was organizing the books at I tried my best to act normal. "Curly." She drops all books, hitting her head on the shelf. I grimace before helping her to pick them up. "Ted?" She had her glasses on, I had almost forgotten that she wore those. "What're you doing here?" "I had hours to complete too." She nods. "Oh, well at least I have a bit of company now." She chuckles, pushing up her glasses with one finger. "You look adorable with your glasses." I compliment and she stares down at her Nike slides. "Thanks. . " ● I hate the library. Now I know why Greene decided to wear a sweater on a hot day like this. Dressed in a simple black t-shirt with skinny distressed jeans, i didn't know i was going to get Hypothermia in a freaking Library. "It's okay, we can go now." Greene chuckles, noticing my annoyance and I nod thankfully, she waves at the teachers who were here before leaving the room. As soon as we stepped into the sun, she removed hee sweater to reveal a black crop top that was like most of her shirts, oversized. It's so stupid that i was getting turned on by just the glimpse of her stomach, but yet just a show of her skin and I was ready to pounce. Control yourself dude. "Im kinda hungry, are you?" She asks. "I could eat? What're you craving today?" I ask. "Burgers." She answers immediately. "Preferably McDonald's with their delicious vanilla milkshake." I chuckle at the hungry look on her face. "Alright Curly, let's get you some food before you try to eat me." She sticks out her tongue getting into her car. Greene sat back into the seat and shamelessly rubbed her stomach. "Oh that was great." She moans and I chuckle, trying my best to not let it get to my area. "Are you able to walk?" I ask her and she gives me a playful stink eye. "There you go again with the sneakily calling me fat." I can't help but turn a little pink at her words and she giggles. "Lead the way Teddy bear." "Ugh, don't be a Reid now." I say standing and she pinches my cheeks. "It suits you." "Alright but you're the only one I'll allow to call me that." "Ay, ay captain, if anyone calls you that who isn't me i won't be afraid to deck them." She says with the cutest salute and roll my eyes, although my heart was simply getting bigger for this girl." "Lets go nerdy." I take the risk in grabbing her hand, and to my pleasant surprise, she intertwines them, a secret smile filling her face. ● " Aw these flowers are so pretty." Greene coos as if they could hear her. Her face all puffy and adorable as she looks around, pushing up her glasses. "My mom always took me here when things got too hectic and home. . It always brings me peace." There we stood in 'The land of flowers.' A place founded for mostly a tourist attraction. In rows were a wide variety of flowers, even the rare black rose. It was usually empty, especially when tourist season was no more. "This place must be pretty special to you then." Greene murmurs and I nod. "Do you know where she is now?" "Nah, I just know she has a new family. She's happy. . . And that's what she deserves." "I wish I had your view on things." Greene says a bit bitterly. "My mom didn't exactly leave for no reason y'know, she found out my dad was cheating with some woman, she left and planned to take me with her, but he threatened her. She didn't listen and still went to court for me. But lost and my father got full custody by lying. And now, I'm forced to live with that bastard and his new wife, which was his old mistress." I explain and her lips were parted as she frowns. "My mom left because. . Well. . From what I know, because she couldn't handle the stress of being a teen mom. She left me with my dad, and after a series of events I eventually land in the hands of my grandparents." She stares down at her shoes before sighing and looking back up at me. She was about to say something when I cut her off, my lips on hers. To my surprise she doesn't jump back, but returns the kiss. She was shorter than me and my neck had a little strain so I grabbed her hips before effortlessly placing her onto me, her legs wrapping around me with a small squeak. The kiss wasn't slow, it was rather ravishing as I gripped at her behind, causing her to moan into my mouth. I had to break apart before it goes any further but the look on Greene's face was like a splash of cold water. "Curly?" I call out as she takes a step back. "That shouldn't have happened." She says turning to run away and I grab her arm. "Okay, okay, I'm sorry, i won't let it happen again. . Why-" My heart hammered on my chest as she ripped her arm away from me. "You don't understand Teddy. I cant do this . . The 'us'. . i cant be what you want me to be." "I don't want you to be anything or anyone but yourself Greene. . .what're you hiding from? What're you afraid of?" "In a few months he's gonna find me. . And I'm gonna have to run again. . I don't want to get attached to anyone here." Tears fall onto her cheeks and it pains me to see her like this. "Who's he? Can you talk to me?" She shakes her head, "this is bad. I already like you teddy. A few days and that's all it took for me to fall, but i cant let this go further. You're gonna get hurt." "I won't get hurt. . Just talk to me." "I have to go." She mutters, before practically sprinting away and I watch her, my heart laying at the bottom of my stomach.
