{Ellie’s POV} I woke up in an empty bed. The side of the bed was cold, which means Noah had left hours ago or he didn’t sleep at all. I stood up and peeked through the windows that were covered with light gray curtains and saw that the sun was just about to rise. Why was Noah up so early? I don’t know whether to be relieved or confused that he wasn’t by my side. A part of me wanted to escape from his line of vision since I was sure Noah would still ask me about what was bothering me, and I didn’t want that since I was so close to telling him. I can’t.
