A little while after Zaria knocked on the door they heard footsteps, getting louder as they neared the door. At the door they stopped. A few moments passed before the unmistakable sound of a bolt being drawn back was heard. After that came the sound of locks turning, and finally the doorknob twisted and the door swung inwards and open. A girl stood in the doorway scowling down at them. Her face froze when she saw Zaria and she quickly rearranged her features to look more welcoming.
"Oh, um, it's you, Madam Zaria," she said, fidgeting with the sleeves of her dress. She spoke Revonan, like most people who she met due to Zaria and it made her wonder if Zaria pretended she wasn't fluent in Stormne.
