The next morning was bleak and gray. Rey groaned when Zaria shook her awake, wanting nothing more than to stay curled up in the bed covered by the blanket provided by the inn, where it was warm and cozy. Zaria threatened to roll her off the bed if she still refused to get out of bed, so with a heart so heavy it felt like it would burst any moment Rey peeled the blanket off of her and got to her feet. She did it as slowly as she could, partly to spite Zaria and partly because she really didn't want to leave the comfort of her bed. It was more than just being afraid of the cold; she just wasn't ready to face whatever the world had in store for her that day.
