the billionaire daughter
Title: The Billionaire’s Daughter
Genre: Campus Romance | Dram
Episode 1 – The Arrival
The sun was setting behind the tall palm trees that lined the entrance of Royal Heights University. Students strolled around the campus, chatting, laughing, living their normal lives.
But for Adanna Williams, today was anything but normal.
Her father was one of the richest men in Lagos – a business tycoon whose name was in every magazine, every TV station, every conversation about money. She was the only daughter of the Williams empire. People expected her to come to campus in a flashy car, flaunt her wealth, and intimidate everyone.
But Adanna didn’t want any of that. She wanted to be seen as just another girl.
So she arrived quietly, wearing a simple white top, ripped jeans, and sneakers. Her hair was in a ponytail, her designer bag the only thing betraying her true status.

Inside the lecture hall, her eyes scanned the room. And then, she saw him.
Chike.
Tall, dark-skinned, with a quiet confidence that made him stand out. He wasn’t like the other guys who immediately tried to impress her when they recognized her last name. He wasn’t even looking at her.
Instead, his eyes were locked on Amaka, the girl sitting two rows ahead. Amaka was effortlessly beautiful, smart, and popular on campus. Everyone loved her, including – apparently – Chike.
Adanna’s chest tightened.
For the first time in her life, she felt something strange. Something she couldn’t buy with her father’s money.
Jealousy.
---
Later that evening, Adanna sat in her dorm room, staring at her phone.
Her best friend, Zara, called.
“Babe, how’s your first day on campus?” Zara asked.
Adanna sighed. “Zee, I think I’m crushing on someone. But… he’s in love with someone else.”
Zara gasped dramatically. “Ehn?! Billionaire’s daughter or not, you better fight for your man!”
Adanna laughed softly but her heart was still heavy.
Could she really compete with a girl like Amaka?
Would Chike ever notice her – the real her – and not just her father’s name?
She didn’t know yet.
But one thing was sure: this semester was going to change everything.
