The villagers, though still shaky and agitated, slowly found the courage to step outside, accompanied by Aaron and his team mates. They found it hard to believe that adventurers of such calibre would agree to protect them without making any demands. Aaron and his companions had come as Godsends to this ruined settlement.
No one would have lost any sleep over an insignificant village being attacked by monsters, which is why the guild members in the town had ignored their requests for help.
