CHAPTER THIRTY-SEVEN

1047 Words

Two days later, after the attack at the Autumn Pack house, everyone was still shaken. The wounds in their hearts were fresh, and the memory of blood and screams lingered. But they could not waste time. They needed to act fast. Inside the living room, a large printer was running nonstop. The sound of the machine filled the room as sheet after sheet of paper came out. On the papers were wanted photos. The pack had made them as big and as clear as possible so that no one could miss the faces. The photos showed two vampires. They were the ones the little girl had seen during the attack. She had cried and struggled to remember their faces, but with patience and care, the pack’s artist had drawn them based on her words. Now, those faces looked back from the posters—cold, sharp, and dangerous.
