THE AUTUMN OF LOVE

"Kam! Kamilah!" Kamilah Emerson pushed herself up the steps of the Pack house, racing toward, where the voices of her sister's screams as she called out her name. Her feet pound on the floor and panic is setting in. She's moving so quickly, that she can feel herself losing grip on the hallway which sends her skidding across the floor and crashing into the wall. Her head and shoulder twist at an awkward angle into the kitchen door frame, with enough force that black dots danced in her vision. The sharp pain on her collarbone and shoulder are shooting through her entire body, as she felt her shoulder dislocate upon the impact. "Kam! Kamilah!" Her sister's petrified scream echoed through the house. Kamilah Emerson jump with her feet in the floor, and her head started to spin. When she turned to the corner, she was shocked to see Alpha David dragging her sister by her hair, heading into the basement with a whip in his other hand. Kamilah manage take off running for her, just managing to grab the basement door frame, but before she reached it, Alpha David slams the door shut on and her fingers was stuck on it. "Ahh!" a scream of pain bursts from her lips. Using her left fingers, she finally reach for the doorknob, she realize it’s been already locked tight. Then she began to pull her hand away, desperate to break free. While she could hear her sister's sobbing and calling for her from behind that door. "LEAVE HER ALONE!" Kamilah screamed. Desperately trying to free her fingers and get inside. Kamilah slammed her body againts the door. Without the chance to build up momentum, Kamilah Emerson threw herself with all her might toward the side where her fingers were stuck. The door creaked open just enough for her to pull her injured, bloodied, and mangled hand free. Her fingers were definitely broken, twisted and jutting out at odd angles that felt completely unnatural. By backing up, Kamilah Emerson ran with full force into the door, but she bounce off it, and lose her breath in the process. Then she tried again, at the same time she felt that her bones in her arms was broken,she cried in pain. "Kam!!" the voices of her sister is now to be heard little by little on her ear. Kamilah stood up, took a step back, and charged forward with all her might. She dropped her shoulder and slammed into the door with such force that it flew open. But as she stumbled through, her feet lost their grip, and she tumbled down the stairs, landing at a really awkward angle. "Brooggh!" She felt like her head had been crushed after hitting the cold, hard concrete floor of the basement.
