Lets all be Bakers. In 1986 there was this bakery. A big one; managed by 38 people. They now used robots to bake; so 38 people would now make delicious cupcakes for the whole state daily... The best part about this business was the pay. They all earned equal. 100k dollars yearly. Try to use your calculator on it for our currency. It seemed almost perfect. But there was a catch. We cannot all be bakers earning millions. Who would buy the others “now overly experimented on delicious cupcakes?” that is how I would explain the socialism economy. And a socialist baker. A capitalist baker would want everything in his pocket. Get the money; set up the business. Hire 10,000 workers and pay them 500,000 of the profit and keep all the rest that the 33 people would have got. No one can argue that it doesn’t work. More people are paid “fairly” at least according to the country's economic standards. And a rich business man to invest in a lot of businesses and people. The 38 “rich" bakers in the socialist economy though would also have money to invest in smaller businesses. So they can employ a lot of people and change many lives with a fair pay. The United states is mainly a Capitalist economy and China considers its self a socialist economy. The Gulu Kingdom Moshav may have to be both. Rich dads and mums; investing in their retirement in things they love. And enough “cheap labor”; geographically Close relatives and grand kids. It is a perfect way to retire. Build a baby empire in retirement. The chicken business is big. We got the big dogs; Uga-chick and the small dogs; “Keen and Keeds Chicks"…They have employed both capitalism and socialism in their business plan either directly or indirectly. In the end what matters is a profitable stable business; the end justifies the means. I liked it for its simplicity. From a little research in Our neighborhood Kibaati I found that almost every house however small had them a chicken in comfort sitting on eggs. It could be set up anywhere. So with my small first trading profit we set it up with Emma. Chicks died; 30 of them; But not overnight so the statistical data sieve worked. Anyone can take care of chicken. Marketing wont be easy since everyone loves properly cooked chicken and anyone can rare or afford one if they really wanted one. The hens to humans ratio is big. Probably 60:1. We can all eat 60 hens now and some will be left. The nieces will do that part. Market and keep most of the returns. And hopefully learn basic street knowledge if they decided to become the rich investor in the future or the “philanthropist”. The Moshav can be the best school especially in holidays. With biggest resource; The most educated retired minds spoiling and teaching their grandchildren basic street knowledge. How to Cater. Manage Transport and maintain engines. Manage churches and schools and health systems; apartments; and Money. All it needs is a few trampolines, swings, gardens, kitchens, bonfire spots, and ear pads because the grand kids are going to get loud. A small van and marketing. “Bring your kids in holiday for a week to have fun for a small pay". I am sure the New Ertirean population will do it if you assured them security for their kids and a quiet one week holiday for themselves without kids around. And if they do; you will have cheap willing labor for the chicken farms and all other businesses and in return they get to learn small life lessons. A win for Everybody.
