Our Time

The New Era

I was sleeping peacefully until I felt like someone was jumping in my bed. I swear to god if Vince is acting like a child I am going to be so pissed.

"Sis, Sis, wake up" Julie says to me.

"mmmmm, what are you doing here Julie?" I say to her and then started looking for Vince. "Where is Vince?"

"He left early this morning. They didn't say why. But so did dad and David." She said to me.

"They all left?" I asked her.

"Well, all except Thomas and Ethan. They were told to wait at the door. Thomas is outside the door and Ethan is where dad was sitting yesterday," she said.

Was there another attack? I jolted out of bed and went to wash my face and brush my teeth. Then I found a white tee and black leggings to put on. Before Julie could say more, I ran out the door to see Ethan.

"I do not think there was another attack. They just want us to be safe. Rosalie. Let's just get ready for the day. How about that?" Says Julie.

How am I supposed to just get ready for the day? There is so much more going on than just our wedding and Luna Ceremony. I want to prove that we will be OK and the attacks will stop.

'We will be ok tonight. We will be safe tonight. I am sure we will not be attacked.' Gia says, proudly.

'Gia, what are you talking about?' I asked her.

'Oh, Rosalie, we will be fine. I will make sure of it.' She mentions it and then goes to the back of my head.

Today is the Luna Moon. This is the moon that created the first ever Luna Wolf. The goddess herself. It makes a True Luna the most powerful shewolf there is. It so happened to be the night we chose to have our wedding and my Luna Ceremony. Very few Luna's gain power during this time. The last Luna to gain power was Queen Rani. She became the moon itself.

Of course, this does not mean that you are not a Luna of your pack. You still are, you just aren't the Luna to all Lunas'. There are just a few that are selected to be the next heirs to carry on the Moon Goddess's position as peace keeper in the world. Everyone knows this it is part of our Luna history. We are more than mates, we are the back bone of our spouse who is the back bone of the pack. For the true Luna we are the ground to keep our wolves safe. No matter what the situation.

Nothing had happen, it seems that Elenora and my mother went to start the decorating of the wedding and the Luna Ceremony. I ended up going to my office to finish off the finishing touches to the new packhouse. I was so focus on the details I did not realize time was passing by.

"Rosalie! Are you there, sweet heart?" Says my mother while entering my room.

"Yes, Mum. I was just thinking about my classes for Luna." I said to her. It has been on my mind since what Gia said to me. It was unusual for her to mention these things to me.

"Do you need some assistance with anything today? It has been a rough night for everyone." She says to me.

I do indeed need some assistance. I am so focused on our packhouse and getting the final touches does since 6 am this morning I did not realize it was already 1pm. The ceremony is starting at 6pm today and ending at midnight with the pack run. I was coming out of my trance and noticed my sister Julie and sister-in-law, Sage, had just walked in. We walked into the walk-in closet to the vanity to get my make-up and hair done. My sister put on very simple make-up. A little bit of eye liner, little but of eye shadow, it was a simple look. My mother and Sage could not decide on whether or not I should have an updo or have it down.

Julie made it simple. She told them that since I would wear flowers, just to do a half braided crown and waterfall the hair with some light curls. Every other braid had a flower.

As soon as they were done with my hair, we put on the first part of my dress. The dress has a gold lace bodice with seer sleeves with laces at the wrist, the skirt is mermaid style and the lace trickled down the dress. As soon as my sister was satisfied with the look, she went to grab the detachable full skirt. It made my dress a ballgown. She made sure that the buttons down the top skirt matched the ones down the back of my dress.

"Stunning! What a truly beautiful bride you are Rosalie." My mother said to me trying to hold back her tears.

"Wow. My brother better cry seeing you walk down the isle." Says Sage.

Just then Elenora walked in with a box. As soon as she saw me she stopped in her tracks. "My Goddess, you look so wonderful Rosalie. I have just the thing to give you the finishing touch." She says and opens the box. It was a tiara. It actually look more like a crown of sliver leaves and gold vines. She placed it on my head and my mother added her veil.

"Perfect!" Says Julie.

"Knock, Knock! Are you guys about ready?" Says my father at the door.

"Yes dear, come in" Says my mother.

He walks in and his jaw falls to the floor. "Oh my dear, you look like a true princess tonight." He said to me, then placed his hand on my face to rub my cheek. "I cannot believe you are getting married, I have dreamed of this day but now that it is hear. I believe I am having a hard time letting you go." He said to me.

"I won't be gone dad, you and the families will united and live with us." I said to him. Then he took my mother and Elenora left to get ready. Sage and Julie decide that maybe it was time to put on their dresses and finish curling their hairs. I tried to go back to my office to look over documents but was stopped by Vivian and Cecilia. They were told by Vincent to not let me work. By the time everyone was ready it was time to start the ceremony.

I walked down the stairs to find my father was waiting for us. He looked so nervous but greeted me and kissed my forehead.

"My advise to you is to always be strong my dear. Being the mate of an Alpha male is hard but you are his Luna. His moon. If your love is strong nothing will stop the two of you." He said to me.

"Thanks dad. I know that everything will be ok." I said to him.

"Are you ready?" He says as the omega's gesture us to walk outside.

"Yes. Please don't let me fall" I said to him.

"Never" He said with a smile.

Then the omega's open the French doors leading to the back where the wedding will commence. I could feel the butterflies fluttering in my tummy as the omega's gestured for us to walk through. We started walking towards the stairs that lead down from the back porch. Momentarily stopped at the top of the 6 steps and watch as everyone else made it down. Then the my father lead me down the isle. I was so nervous and gripped on to my fathers arm. He then said, "Look, He is waiting for you."

I looked up and could see a very happy Vincent standing next to Ethan and Thomas. Once I saw his face, I felt myself calm down. All I could do was stare at this man, before I knew it my father was putting my hand in his and kissing my forehead one more time.

The ceremony went by fast and it was time for the Luna Ceremony. I saw that Elder Mark and Elder John were the only ones there.

"Rosalie, are you ready for this. This is more than just your Luna ceremony. Today we are going to combine packs." Says Elder John.

"I thought it was just the Luna Ceremony?" I said.

"We will combine the packs and commence you and Vincent as Alpha and Luna of the pack." Said Elder Mark. "We will also share responsibility of the new pack as one."

"We are ready." respond Vincent.

Elder Mark and Elder John went on stage where both pack cups sat and in the middle was a white bowl with gold and silver leaves and black trim at the top of the bowl.

"pst, Vince.. When was that made?" I asked him pointing at the bowl.

"My mother and your mother had it made as a surprise, when they got your crown made. I was to keep this from you." He said then giggled a little.

They went behind my back to get all this extra stuff done. Why didn't anyone tell me about this?

"I want to first welcome everyone to the Silver Moon Pack. I am Elder Mark and this is Elder John. Today we are doing a special ceremony. First and foremost, we want to congratulate Alpha Vincent and Rosalie on their marriage." announced Elder Mark, then gestured for us to join them on stage. We joined them on stage and they continued with the announcement.

"Today we are not just celebrating a union of two people but two packs. We want to first ask that if anyone would like to not unite as one pack to speak now." Said Elder Mark.

No one said a thing and just waited to see what they would do next.

"Since everyone has agreed to the terms of this union, we will not combine the pack cups." announced Elder John. At the same time Elder Mark and Elder John combined the liquids from the separate pack cups into the newly made bowl. You could hear a strong gust of wind after the last drop of liquid fell into the bowl.

"Welcome to the Golden Crestant Moon Pack!" Annonce Vincent. You could hear an eruption of cheers and clapping from the crowd.

"Please another round of cheers for Golden Crestant Moon's First Alpha and Luna." Announce Elder Mark. As the crowd cheered again as the moon started to peek through. Today it seem to shine brightly in the sky as the cloud slowly moved out of the way. I could feel like it was calling to me.

"Let feast!" Vincent announced. You could see the omega's slowly starting to come to each table and setting them. We were centered at the stage and people would come by and congratulate us on our marriage and the combining of the packs. Before we continued we decide to change my full ballgown dress to my mermaid gown. Which stunned everyone that we made that change.

Tonights dinner started with a house salad. The entree was steak with caramelized onions and mushrooms with a side of either a loaded baked potato or garlic mashed potatoes and stove oven mac and cheese or barbeque glazed chicken with garlic green beans and asparagus. After we ate, we got ready to cut the cake and there was a buffet bar of desserts.

After everyone was done eating we wanted to enjoy the remainder of the night with music and laughter before we had the pack run. As everyone was slowly starting to get ready for the pack run, I decide to go inside and get ready too. I went to take off my dress and change into a sports bra and leggings. Once I came back down it, everyone else was ready for the run too.

I made my way to Vince who was standing next to the stage. He notice me and smiled.

"Hello, my beautiful love. Are you ready for our first pack run?" He said to me and reached out for my hand.

"Yes. I am nervous. But yes." I said taking his hand.

We walked on stage and he announced we were going to do the pack run. Slowly everyone started shifting and Children were being picked up and put on parents backs before other shifted. Once everyone had shifted, Vince looked at me and we walked over to the edge of the woods and shifted. Today was the first time in a long time that Gia was coming out. She seemed very excited.

I waited for a little bit as Vincent was in the middle of shifting, I shifted into Gia. This would be the first time that we would be doing this with Vincent. Once I was done I looked at him and saw that Leo his wolf was white and gray. You could hear his purring after I shifted and it seem everyone was in a small state of shock.

Gia shifted to a white wolf but the moon light shined on her and made her silver hairs shine. She has a small glow to her and everyone seemed to bow slowly one by one. I looked over at Vincent and he bowed his head also.

'I told you it would be different tonight' Gia said to me with a smile.

'What do you mean? Why is everyone acting funny?' I said to her.

Just at the moment Leo nudges Gia and gestured for us to lead the pack run. Normally this is the Alpha's job. Why does he want me to lead? I have no idea where I am going? But he nudges me again. So I took off running, I knew one place that I wanted to go to and I wanted everyone to join me. The cliff of the old ruins. It has the perfect view of the moon and the light shines the best there.

It took a while to get there but once we were there it seemed like everyone was a little weary. I got to the top, where the cliff began and Vincent joined me. Slowly the back came up behind us and waited. Gia seemed very proud as she howled at the moon and everyone joined in. It was amazing but the moon started to shine brighter. I felt a surge of energy slowly run through me.

I could feel everyone's eye on me as they watched the moon shine on me for a moment. Then we finish the run by going back to the ceremony. As we finished the Elders came to us and request an emergency meeting. I honestly wanted to go to bed but they had insisted we all be at this meeting as this was now very serious business. They had joined the pack run. Which is not normal and wanted to discussed things that happened.
