Silver Moon Announcements

There was an arch entrance that was gated. A wall that stretched for miles. There was a gap of just land about an acre before the wall. As you entered you see the guard station and a few small stores. There were cabins and the further in you go the more silver and white cabins you see.

We stopped at another gated area, and I looked at Vincent. “The gates are never closed. It’s actually serves as another barrier in case the first wall is broken through.” He said to me. It didn’t click at first but after some thought it did.

If the first boarder patrol fails, we would still have the second boarder. It would protect the old, the injured, woman and children. After some more thoughts, I concluded to train more women for combat.

“Tell me what is going on in your beautiful mind of yours.” Said Vincent.

“Sorry, I was just thinking.” I said to Vincent.

“Care to tell me? I am all ears.” He said to me then winked at me.

I couldn’t help but blush and chuckle a little. I looked into his eyes and could see only him. At that moment someone cleared their throat.

“Sorry to intrude your moment but we are here. They are also waiting to see you.” Says Ethan.

I looked out the window and see 5 people already waiting for us. I recognized Alpha David and Luna Elenora. There was a girl next to her. She was had long legs and fit, like Luna Elenora, her hair was black but cut into a short bob. She had strong features like Alpha David and stood tall. Next to her were 2 other females that almost looked like them, but their eyes were not black they were brown.

“Welcome Rosalie Knight to the Silver Moon pack. I hope your travels went well with my sons and our lead guard Anthony.” Said Alpha David.

“Yes, it was something I am not use too.” I said to him. You could see the girl that looks like Luna Elenora get antsy.

“You might want to ask before you do anything drastic Sage!” I heard Vincent say.

“OOOOHH! I just can’t wait. CAN I HUG YOU PLEASE!!!!” Before I knew it, I was embraced by the girl they called Sage. This must be Vincent’s sister. “Oh, Welcome to the family!” She whispered into my ear as she squeezed me.

“She can be over excited about having a sister. She only has Vivian and Cecilia.” Says Luna Elenora.

“We can totally do a lot. I would help you with training!” Says Sage.

“I am Vivian, and this is Cecilia. Christian is off doing Vincent’s job right now. So, you will have to meet him later. By the way Vincent, there was trouble again at the southern boarders. Another attack and another kidnapping. They took a few this time.” Says Vivian.

They are taking children… What is going on at the southern boarders? We just got here and there is already a lot we must do.

“Did they take any woman this time?” asked Vincent as they hurried into the house.

“I am not sure, hard to say. Christian went to the boards just now. It happened right before you got back.” Said Vivian.

“Do you guys’ mind watch Rosalie for a bit? I am going to go help Christian. Ethan, Anthony let’s go.” Said Vincent. He didn’t even bother to look at me before going. But I know how much that means to the pack verses a glance for me.

“Well, sorry I had to bring the bad news. It’s been hectic after he left.” Said Vivian.

“Anyways, let’s show you to your new room in the home. Plus, you need a tour of the place.” Says Sage. We started walking towards the stairs, the one on the right stopped at the second floor. The one on the left went up to the second floor and had another one going up to the third floor.

“First and 2nd floor are for everyone. Meeting halls are on the 2nd floor and the so are the guest rooms. First floor is all other entertainment.” Said Sage.

“Third floor is for the Gemma and Beta. Plus, entertainment for high rank members. We have some issues before of people taking high rank members stuff.” Said Cecilia.

“But this is for the Alpha and Luna and children. Normally when the children take over the old Alpha and Luna take up a new house down the road.” Said Vivian.

“Since Vincent just took the role, he is still remodeling the Bedroom. He said you can share his room with him or the one next to the Luna’s office.” Said Sage.

“I will just share the room. We are engaged after all.” I said to Sage. Then she told an omega where to put my stuff. “Normally they do not come up here. The first Alpha forbid any omegas on this floor. But rules change over time.” She whispered to me.

After taking me to the 4th floor, they showed me all the third floor. Which only consist of 4 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, and an open space for entertainment. This room looks like a big studio. We went to the 2nd floor where the guest rooms were the 2 meeting halls and another entertainment room.

The first floor had an indoor pool and hot tub, laundry room, work out room, library, 2 dinning halls and the kitchen. The kitchen itself was huge too. It all made me miss home. Just as we were about to leave the kitchen, someone walked in.

“OH MY! You scared me. I wasn’t expecting anyone in the kitchen just yet. How can I help you 4 ladies?” Said an elderly lady with a smile on her face.

“Oh, nothing Gladys. We were just showing our new Luna around.” Said Sage.

“Oh my, I am sorry Luna, I didn’t know Vincent was home with you just yet.” She said embarrassed.

“It’s ok Gladys! I wasn’t expecting anyone to know just yet.” I said to her with a smile.

“Well miss…” She spoke. “Rosalie” I responded.

She nodded her head and continued. “If you need anything or want something specific, please let me know. I will make it for you.” After that she went to turn on the stove and proceed to make the fest for tonight. We left her to it. We were about to walk out when we heard a commotion.

“Gladys! WHERE IS MY FOOD!? I asked you already multiple times.” Said the unknown voice. “I can’t wait to be Luna; I will get rid of you first.”

Pause. Who is she and why does she think she is Luna? I could feel anger taking over. I looked over to Sage and the girls and they shook their head. Then pulled me out before I could say anything back to her.

“Let’s leave all the fun for tonight. I want to see her face when she finds out that this dinner is not for her.” Says Sage and all the girls laugh.

“Why not have the fun now?” I asked with a little determination.

“Because she has had her eyes set on being Luna, since her and Vincent made out. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF HIS LIFE!” Laughed Vivian.

“Who is she?” I asked them.

“Oh, that is just the pack w**re. Serenity.” Said Cecilia. “Plus, she is also Anthony’s sister. She thinks she is top rank stuff since her brother is head of security at the castle.”

“But her brother doesn’t even want her here. She was sent back to the family house because she keeps acting all high and mighty. She used to be nice, but the power got to her head.” Said Vivian.

Well, that is just great. I am sure there are more to come. As we went to the front door 4 male come wondering in. First was Ethan, then Anthony, another unknown male and the scent of grass and rain hit me. Vincent came in. He looked at me and smiled.

“Did you have fun with the girls?” He said to me.

“She got a look at your fling in the kitchen.” Mocked Vivian.

“Sorry about that. She used to be my friend. I don’t know what happened.” He said to me. “Let’s go upstairs and talk to my dad for a bit before we have the feast tonight.”

I nod my head and we went upstairs. We sat down with his dad and mother talking about where we want to hold the wedding and what we want to do for the Moon Ceremony that would bind our spirits. We also talked about moving into the Alpha’s room and talking about the wedding ceremony tonight with the pack.

After a while Luna Elenora left us to take care of duties for the party and Sage came to get me to get ready for tonight.

I went to the room and all the girls were already there. There was a dress hanging on a rack. I looked at Sage and she smiled at me.

“It’s for you. Your mother sent it over yesterday. I decided to keep it safe until you got here.” She said to me.

“Thank you. I am just going to go change quickly.” I said to them.

“First let’s retouch your make up and hair then you can go. I found a pin that would go great with that dress she left you.” Said Cecilia.

They retouched my make up and curled my hair. They put half of it up and left the other half down. They made my hair look like a waterfall. The eye shadow was natural with a little bit of gold. I thank them and go to the bathroom to change. I could hear Vincent coming into the room shooing them all away.

“Rosalie, if you are in there, I am going to the closet to change.” He said to me from the other side of the door. Then I heard him leave.

I went to open the dress and I was in awe. My mother had this hand made for me. It was an A-line fitted dress. The top had gold lace and you can see it slowly migrating down the dress and lace lining the bottom of the dress. It was a nice ivory dress and the lace look like vines. It had shoulder sleeves of lace. Now I know why she put the gold and sliver leaf crown on my head.

I put the dress on and looked at myself. I almost cried because I missed my mom. Instead, I held my head up high and put on my heels. I walked out of the bathroom and say Vincent standing there staring at me.

“Wow! You’re beautiful.” He said with his mouth open.

“Thank you. You clean up pretty nice too!” I said to him. Then he straightens up and held his hand out to me. I grabbed his hand and slowly linked arms with him. We headed out to the dinner. He took me to an elevator and said it leads to the hidden room near the ball room. He would go in first and I can come in after.

I waited for him to go first and followed. I could see all eyes on me as I walked in. I mean I am not from the pack, so I understand why. I can hear them thanking everyone for coming and trying to make announcements. Just then I saw out of the corner of my eye that girl again. Serenity. She was wearing a very tight, long, red dress. Her make up matched it and she was getting herself ready.

“I want to first announce that I am officially stepping down and giving my son Vincent the full title of Alpha tonight. I am excited to say we have officially had a truce with Golden Moon Pack. I will not let Vincent explain.” Says David while handing Vince the mic.

“Now, everyone is aware of the situation in the south. We have recently found out that Golden Moon and Silver Moon have a common enemy and want to keep our packs safe. We have made a treaty to combine packs.” As soon as Vincent said it you could hear the crowd.

“Hush now!” He said in his Alpha voice. “That is not all. I have officially found my mate and your Luna. You will respect her as you would respect me.” He spoke. I saw Serenity adjust herself then stand up. Boy is she in for a rude awaking.

“Can you all please welcome your new Luna Rosalie Knight from Golden Moon Pack” Announced Vincent. I went on stage and stood tall next to Vincent. I can hear the crowd once more, but I wanted to know Serenity’s face reaction. I looked at her and she was seething with anger. She looked like she was ready to kill the next person that made her mad. She looks like she was about to walk out, and you could see some of the people around her snickering.

“SILENCE! The treat has called for an arranged marriage. This is very fortunate of us to have been mates. We will be doing more than combining forces. We will be making a new pack. We are the New Moonlight Pack!” He announced. I don’t remember talking about this, I just remember talking about the crest.

“Don’t worry I will fill you in later. Your father and my father apparently had this conversation and came up with this name.” Vincent whispered to me.

There were some cheers but mostly people whispering in disappointment. I understand. We have been at war for a long time. Now, we are to be one pack. I looked at Vincent and he looked at his people. I took the mic from him and started to speak.

“I understand that everyone is concern about the packs combining. I am too. We have been at war for too long and we need it to come to an end. Both our packs are in danger right now. This is the best option to fight our common enemy. I will do all I can to protect this pack, just like I would my own. Please give me the chance to prove my worth.” I said to the people.

It took everyone a little bit but they all nod in agreement. We have lost too much in the war and now that the board is being attacked, we must stop killing one another. I saw a few people nod in agreement, some were not convinced, and the rest agreed but disagreed. This was going to be a long process to get everyone on the same page. 

The rest of the night we spent going around the pack and introducing me. I could see everyone was worried about me being there. I was worried too. I notice that Serenity left the room. I could feel the accomplishment of having her put down. After the dinner we went to bed. I was too tired
